Chapter 500 Going Upstairs Right Now to Confront Him
Jasper's eyes narrowed a bit. "Molly went back to Radiance Springs?"
When Molly was overseas, he had people keeping tabs on her. Later, after she was taken by her real family, she even got some of his guys killed.
But back then, Adeline had just gone into a coma from a miscarriage, Bennett had died, and Blake was seriously ill. Jasper was so swamped he couldn't deal with Molly.
Later, Jasper helped Blake find a bone marrow donor, found Luna, and was constantly busy treating Blake and looking after Luna.
If Vikram hadn't brought it up, he would've almost forgotten about Molly.
Adeline never told him what exactly happened the day she had her accident.
Now, hearing Vikram mention it, Jasper suddenly remembered that the night before Adeline's accident, Molly had tried to come onto him while drunk, but he had firmly turned her down.
The next morning, when Molly sobered up, she cried and apologized, saying she had drunk too much and wanted to go back to Radiance Springs early because she was too embarrassed to keep working for him.
At the time, Jasper thought she was just young and Adeline's younger sister, so he didn't think much of it.
Now he got it. Maybe Vikram was right. On the day of Adeline's accident, Molly might have played a big part.
"Yeah, it's ture," Vikram yawned. "Adeline also told me last night she wants to find Molly. I just think our resources are too limited."
"I got it." Jasper squinted and hung up the phone, then called Ryan. "Starting today, lock down all the entrances and exits of Radiance Springs. Turn the place upside down if you have to, but find Molly for me!"
On the other end, Ryan had just woken up. Hearing Jasper's order, he frowned. "Mr. Foster, are you sure you didn't misspeak? Molly?"
"That's right." Jasper's voice was cold. "Find her for me!"
Whether Vikram was right or not, as long as Molly was still in Radiance Springs, he had to find her!
After hanging up, Jasper drove straight back to Emerald Crest Estate.
As soon as he walked in, he saw Blake and Lauren having breakfast with Lily.
Jasper took off his coat and hung it up, casually asking, "Why are the three of you having breakfast together? Where's Luna?"
Lily snorted, stabbing at the fried egg on her plate, the fork clanging loudly. "Your Luna can't handle the English breakfast I like! How could she possibly have breakfast with me? Luna wants to eat Western desserts."
After saying that, Lily snorted again and put the fried egg into Blake's bowl. "Blake, you're not in good health; you need to eat more nutritious food!"
Blake nodded, respectfully taking the fried egg from Lily with his bowl, and gave her a bright smile. "Thank you!"
Lily praised, "Ah, such a good boy!"
She smiled and gave Lauren a fried egg as well.
Lauren, copying her brother, smiled and thanked Lily.
While praising Lauren and Blake, Lily snorted. "It’s gotta be us, the Foster family, with our unbeatable adaptability. Even though both kids have just recovered from serious illnesses, they're not picky!"
After that, Lily rolled her eyes at Jasper. "Your Luna, I can't take care of her. She's so fragile, like she could break with a gust of wind. I really don't know how many more days she can last."
Seeing Lily's words getting more and more harsh, Jasper quickly stepped in. "Grandma, don't say that. Luna's always been in poor health. She's been sick for so long, that's why she's like this now."
Jasper took a deep breath, grabbed a carton of milk from the fridge, heated it up, and headed upstairs with it.
Watching him go, Lily couldn't help but snort. "Is this what having a girlfriend looks like? It's like raising a pet!"
Lily really couldn't understand Jasper.
He didn't like Molly before.
Lily had barely been back for a few days before something happened.
Finally, because Adeline was good to the kids, Lily started to like Adeline. But then Jasper brought home a sickly person. It's simply ridiculous!
Lauren said, "Mrs. Lily Foster, don't be too angry. It's not good for your health."
Seeing Lily like this, Lauren's little eyes darted around. She quickly got down from her chair, ran to Lily's side, and tried to pat Lily's back with her little hand. But she was too short to reach.
Lily was amused by her actions, picked Lauren up into her arms, and pinched Lauren's little face. "Why are you so good, worrying about Great-grandma?"
"Yes!" Lauren nodded seriously. "Mommy often teaches me to respect elders and not to throw tantrums at them! And she also taught me not to argue with elders just because I don't want to eat something, ruining their good intentions!"
Lily paused slightly.
Lauren's words reminded her of Luna, who had just argued with her and said her food was ugly and unappetizing.
While Lily's affection for Lauren grew, her dislike for Luna deepened.
Lily sighed and silently held Lauren. "Adeline may not be likable, but she understands the big picture."
At least, whether it was Bennett before or Blake and Lauren now, they have always been very respectful to her.
Even when Lily disliked Adeline before, the kids never said they disliked her.
Sitting across the table, Blake sighed. "But Daddy doesn't allow Mommy to be with us anymore. He listened to Luna and thinks Mommy is mentally ill."
Blake became more and more dejected as he spoke. "I don't know if Lauren and I will ever have a chance to see Mommy again."
"Yes," Lauren quickly added, "Now we spend every day with Luna; I don't know if we'll become like her."
Lily raised an eyebrow and slammed her utensils on the table. "Jasper really said that?"
If Blake and Lauren became as spoiled as Luna, that would be terrible!
Blake and Lauren exchanged a glance, then both little ones nodded seriously. "Mrs. Lily Foster, it's true. We don't think Mommy has a mental illness, but..."
Lily snorted. "I'm going upstairs to find him!"
With that, she put Lauren down and stood up. "Jasper calls the one who properly educates the kids a mental patient, but the weak and sickly one, he treats like a treasure! I really want to see what Jasper is thinking!"
Seeing Lily get up, Lauren quickly grabbed her hand. "Mrs. Lily Foster, forget it. Even if you go to Daddy, he won't allow us to live with Mommy."
Lily snorted. "Really? I'm going upstairs to reason with Jasper right now! Today, either I send you back to Adeline, or he brings Adeline here!"
