Chapter 540 Mrs. Foster's Position Will Be Hers Sooner or Later!
Jasper rubbed his temples and stayed quiet.
Luna let out a sigh. "You know, I think Blake and Lauren are good kids. Even if Lauren didn't like me before, she was never this rude."
As she spoke, Luna gave Jasper's shoulder a little pat, pretending to be sad. "But hey, don't be too down. They're still young; they can change for the better."
With that, Luna got up and walked away.
Jasper leaned back on the sofa, rubbing his aching temples. Had Blake and Lauren really been influenced by Adeline?
"Luna, according to online sources, the two kids who took Evelyn away are said to be Jasper Foster's son and daughter. Is that true?"
"Luna, about Mr. Foster's kids being suspected of kidnapping Evelyn, how does he plan to handle it, and what are your thoughts?"
"Luna, Mr. Smith said if Mr. Foster's kids don't return Evelyn within 24 hours, he'll call the police to have them arrested. How does Mr. Foster plan to respond?"
Early the next morning, a video of Luna went viral online.
In the video, Luna stood at the entrance of Emerald Crest Estate with red eyes. "Yes, the kids in the video with Evelyn are Jasper's children. But please, don't jump to conclusions. Blake and Lauren are very well-behaved and sensible. Even though they're only six, they're more mature than many adults and would never do such a thing. Jasper has already disciplined them for not returning with Evelyn. They're being punished at home. Blake and Lauren would never kidnap Evelyn. Please stop spreading rumors."
Luna sighed into the camera. "I hope the police solve this soon. Evelyn didn't take her phone, wallet, or room key. She's from out of town, and Dr. Smith says she's not the type to wander off. If it wasn't someone she trusted, she wouldn't have gone. I hope she's safe."
Violet angrily threw her spoon into her bowl. "That woman is shameless! While saying Blake and Lauren wouldn't kidnap anyone, she emphasized their maturity. Isn't she implying they did it?"
Ethan nodded. "The priority now is to make sure Adeline doesn't see this video."
He looked at Violet. "Blake knows some hacking, right? Maybe you should contact him to see if he can delete the source file. Even though Adeline is in Neon City, she definitely keeps an eye on the news from Radiance Springs."
"Good idea!" Violet immediately picked up the phone and called Blake.
But to her surprise, it was Luna who answered. "Miss Wood, long time no see."
Luna lounged in Jasper's office, her voice dripping with lazy elegance. "Bet you didn't expect Blake's phone to be with me, huh?"
Violet froze, her brow furrowing. "Where's Blake?"
"Blake?" Luna sneered. "He's at home, being punished. Disobedient and ill-mannered kids need discipline."
Adjusting to a more comfortable position, Luna continued, "Last night, Jasper decided to crack down on the kids. All their devices are now in his hands. You won't be able to reach them, and you won't find them at Emerald Crest Estate or Blue Bay. Jasper thinks they've been brainwashed by Adeline and have psychological issues, so he's sending them to a so-called 'specialized treatment facility.' But really, it's just a place where they'll be locked in a dark room."
Luna's words grew more outrageous. On the other end, Violet bit her lip hard, her knuckles turning white as she gripped the phone. "Blake and Lauren are Jasper's biological kids. How can he do this to them?"
Luna laughed mockingly. "Jasper never liked the kids Adeline gave him, and you know that. Plus, I'm pregnant with Jasper's child. To make sure my kid isn't mistreated, Jasper has to make things tough for them. Don't you agree?"
Violet was so furious she cursed, "Where's Jasper? Let me talk to him! I need to speak to him personally!"
Luna shrugged and stood up gracefully. "Jasper's not here. He went to the mental hospital outside the city early this morning to confront Adeline. After all, she's the main reason Blake and Lauren are so disobedient."
Luna smiled. "I don't have time for you. I need to plan my beautiful future with Jasper. Goodbye!"
With that, Luna hung up the phone.
After deleting the call records from Blake's phone, Luna carefully placed it back in Jasper's office drawer.
At the door, Scarlett watched Luna with a sweaty brow. "Luna, you should leave. Mr. Foster explicitly said you're not allowed in his office."
Luna sneered. "What are you afraid of? I'll be Jasper's wife sooner or later."
With Adeline locked in a mental hospital and Blake and Lauren accused of kidnapping Evelyn, Luna didn't believe Jasper would still side with them. The position of Mrs. Foster would be hers soon enough!
"I'm so angry!" Hearing the busy tone on the other end, Violet furiously threw her phone to the ground.
Blake and Lauren were Jasper's biological kids; how could he do this?
Compared to Violet's impulsiveness, Ethan remained much calmer. "Did she just say that Jasper went to the mental hospital ?"
Ethan's words made Violet's eyes widen instantly. No! Jasper went to find Adeline!
