Chapter 672 Who Taught You

Jasper's carefully guarded box hit the floor with a loud thud.

The box burst open, and the thirty-odd small bottles he had painstakingly collected scattered everywhere. Pale liquid spilled all over the place.

But Jasper seemed oblivious to it all. He stood at the doorway, staring at the scene inside the room, his eyes wide with shock and confusion.

The hospital room was covered in blood. Lily lay on the hospital bed, her eyes closed, no longer breathing.

Blood had sprayed from her chest, splattering everywhere.

Her heart had been stabbed multiple times with a sharp fruit knife.

On the floor beside her, Adeline lay unconscious, clutching a blood-stained fruit knife tightly in her hand.

Suddenly, shocked voices erupted from behind him. "Oh my God!"

Along with the voices came the sound of cameras clicking.

Jasper frowned, quickly regaining his composure, and rushed to close the door.

But it was too late. Nathan burst in, holding the door open. "Oh my God! Adeline actually killed my mother!"

He clutched his chest in anguish, tears welling up in his eyes. "How could this happen! My mother was just looking so much better! I brought everyone here to capture her best moments, to let her leave this world happily! And now..."

Nathan seemed to collapse, slumping to the ground. Even as he sat there, he held onto the door, allowing the reporters to capture the crime scene.

Jasper felt the veins on his forehead throbbing uncontrollably. "Ryan, what's going on!"

Ryan was blocked by the reporters outside the crowd. "Mr. Jasper Foster, I didn't want these reporters to come up either! But there are too many of them, and most of our people are still at the previous site looking for the remaining antidote. We couldn't stop them!"

The reporters continued to snap photos.

Jasper's veins bulged as he said, "Then call everyone back! Not a single reporter here today gets away! Smash all the cameras; I'll pay ten times the cost!"

Jasper's words brought the hallway to an instant halt. All the reporters stared at Jasper in shock.

This man was the richest and most powerful person in Radiance Springs, and no one dared to cross.

But since he took over the Foster Group at seventeen, though he was ruthless in business, he had always been cold and aloof, never losing his temper in public!

It was clear he was truly furious now.

Lily, who had raised him, was murdered, and the killer was Adeline, the woman with whom Jasper had recently become entangled.

Even someone as calm and composed as Jasper couldn't take it.

Ryan replied, "Yes, Mr. Jasper Foster."

After the hallway quieted down, Ryan's voice was particularly cold and clear. "I'll bring everyone back now and smash the cameras."

The reporters exchanged glances, not daring to continue taking photos, nor daring to hide their cameras.

Jasper's icy gaze swept over these reporters as he said, "This is a Foster family matter. Any investigation and sentencing will wait for the police. If anyone here today leaks what happened, or shares any photos. I have the means to make sure they and their entire family can't survive in Radiance Springs."

Jasper's fierce gaze swept over each person present. "I keep my promises!"

The hallway fell silent.

Some reporters quietly removed their memory cards and broke them in front of Jasper.

Others placed their cameras on the ground, waiting for Ryan to deal with them.

The once bustling hallway was now eerily quiet.

Jasper closed his eyes, "Ryan, call the police."

Ryan nodded, "Get it, Mr. Jasper Foster."

Nathan sat on the floor, feeling anxious as he watched the reporters, who had stopped filming due to Jasper's threats.

He had set this up to ensure the reporters would spread the photos of the crime scene!

But now, the plan failed!

He took a deep breath, crying as he grabbed Jasper's pant leg.

"Jasper, what do you mean? In this situation, I can't believe you're still defending Adeline! Remember, you're a person of clear love and hate! Lily raised you for so many years, and now she's killed by Adeline, and you still want to stop everyone? Are you going to be an ungrateful person for a woman like Adeline?"

Nathan's words made Jasper pause.

If he remembered correctly, he had said these words to Nathan before.

He immediately realized that Lily's death was connected to Nathan!

Despite his threats, Nathan had been visiting Lily frequently, but only for a little while each day. He had never truly cared about Lily's condition.

How did he know about Lily's "final moments" today and bring so many reporters?

It seemed like all the media in Radiance Springs were here.

The whole setup was so elaborate and the timing so perfect that Jasper couldn't help but feel suspicious!

Jasper crouched down, his cold gaze meeting Nathan's. "How dare you accuse me; you are the ungrateful one!"

He reached out to wipe Nathan's tears, "How ridiculous! You're just shedding crocodile tears."

Saying this, he reached into Nathan's pocket.

Sure enough, he found a small bottle of clear liquid, which was specially formulated, tear-inducing pepper spray.

Looking at the bottle, Jasper sneered at Nathan. "Your own mother died so tragically, and you need this to cry?"

Nathan's face turned pale, unable to speak.

His plan was flawless. How did Jasper know he was fake crying?

Jasper stared at him, his gaze merciless. He lowered his voice, his tone icy.

"With your intelligence, you couldn't come up with a plan to frame Adeline. Who taught you?"
