Chapter 615 Nothing Will Go Wrong, Right?

Adeline felt her forehead veins throbbing like crazy! She turned to Jasper, asking, "What are you getting at?"

Jasper stared out the car window, his voice calm but cold, "The reason Molly can threaten and control you, besides Bennett, is also because of Sebastian. Bennett's not a big deal. He's Molly's leverage against me, so it's easy for us to see him and keep him close."

He added, "But Sebastian's different. Except for that day on the beach, you've never seen him. He's Molly's secret weapon, not just to threaten you but also Bennett if she needs to."

He glanced at Adeline. "Molly doesn't have many safe houses in Radiance Springs. Today's abandoned factory is probably the only one. If she kidnapped Blake and Lauren, she'd likely keep them in the same place as Sebastian."

Adeline was shocked, finally getting what Jasper meant. She bit her lip and glared at him. "You knew today was a setup, didn't you? You agreed to Bennett this morning on purpose, just for this? So, to find Sebastian, you let Blake and Lauren take the risk?"

Adeline thought, 'Finding Sebastian is important. But aren't Blake and Lauren important too? How can Jasper let the two kids face the danger?'

Probably expecting Adeline's reaction, Jasper sighed, "This was Blake's plan."

Adeline was stunned, "Blake's plan?"

"Yeah." Jasper rubbed his aching temples, his voice steady, "Last night, Blake and I talked about it in the study for a long time. Blake decided to take the risk and bring Lauren to Molly's hideout to find Sebastian. I didn't want to at first, but Blake said."

He closed his eyes, remembering Blake standing stubbornly in the study last night.

"I'll do my best to protect Lauren and myself. Mr. Foster, you've been in the business world for years, you know the principle of high risk, high reward. If you don't send Lauren and me over this time, how long do you think it'll take to find Sebastian? Last time, Mommy agreed to the ridiculous demand of getting engaged to Rex for Sebastian!"

Blake added, "If we don't find Sebastian quickly, next time, it'll be forcing Mommy to marry Rex! Are you really okay with that? I'm your and Mommy's kid. I'm willing to take Lauren on this adventure so Mommy won't have to suffer so much in the future. Besides, I want Bennett to see how untrustworthy Molly really is through this."

Thinking of this, Jasper sighed, "Blake's only six years old. But he has his own ideas. You know better than I do how stubborn he is about what he wants to do."

Jasper's words left Adeline stunned, at a loss for words. If Blake wanted to do something, no one could stop him.

Just like when they were abroad after Blake learned his illness couldn't be cured, he decided to commit suicide to relieve Adeline's burden.

His stubbornness and persistence not only scared her but also the doctors and nurses in the hospital. Everyone took turns persuading him and watching over him. All to no avail. In the end, it was Adeline who brought Bennett and Lauren to his side, their tears and pleas cutting through his resolve.

If today's plan to infiltrate the enemy's camp was Blake's idea, Jasper probably couldn't talk him out of it.

Thinking of this, she took a deep breath and turned to Jasper's chiseled face. "Since you agreed to let Blake and Lauren be taken by Molly, you better make sure they're safe."

She glared at him, "Otherwise, I'll hate you forever."

Jasper smirked, "If anything happens to them today, I'll hate myself forever too."

"Sir." Seeing that the two had finally finished talking, Ryan lowered his voice and spoke, "We've arrived near the drainage outlet."

Jasper and Adeline turned to look simultaneously. In front of them was a large drainage outlet. Although it was big, it couldn't fit an adult walking upright.

Several bodyguards had already hunched over and got out of the car, walking in.

Jasper was silent for a moment, unbuckling his seatbelt while instructing Adeline. "You wait outside. I have the same communicator as Blake on me. Our communicators can't talk directly, so you need to stay outside and monitor. You stay in the car and watch the receiver terminal of these communicators. I'll leave a team of bodyguards to protect you."

With that, Jasper got out of the car without waiting for Adeline's response. Ryan quickly followed.

"Ryan!" Seeing Jasper already entering the drainage outlet, Adeline bit her lip and grabbed Ryan's arm. "Jasper's injury hasn't fully healed yet. You need to take care of him."

Ryan was silent for a moment, then nodded, "I will."

With that, Ryan quickly caught up and supported Jasper's arm.

Adeline sat in the car, watching everyone go in, then lowered her head to look at the computer screen in front of her. It was quiet. There was no word from Jasper or Blake.

On the computer screen beside her was the map of the underground warehouse of the abandoned factory that Ryan had found earlier.

Adeline bit her lip. The warehouse was so big. When would they find Blake and Sebastian?

She wished she could go in and search herself, but she was painfully aware that her poor physical condition would only hinder the rescue effort. She clasped her hands together, closed her eyes, and kept praying.

At this moment, a static signal came from the computer. Adeline quickly opened her eyes and stared at the screen. The signal was from Blake's communicator.

Soon, the signal ended, and Blake's anxious voice came through, "Mommy, I know where Sebastian is being held. It's in a small room on the east side of the warehouse. Go save him quickly!"

Adeline froze, quickly responding, "Okay, I got it. What about you? Where are you?"

"We're fine. Bennett is leading us in an escape. Mommy, someone is chasing us. I can't talk for long. I'm turning off the communicator now!"

As Blake finished speaking, a loud crashing sound of heavy objects collapsing came from the other end.

Then it went silent, and the signal was cut off.

Adeline's heart sank. With shaking hands, she contacted Jasper and reported Sebastian's location, her mind keeping replaying the last sound she heard.

She thought, 'Blake and the others won't be in trouble, right?'
