Chapter 262 Miss Wilson's sacrifice is really huge

Adeline's hand froze mid-air, phone in her grip. "Mr. Foster..."

"Yeah, Mr. Foster knows some hacking tricks."

On the other end, Ryan scratched his head. "He's got a million things on his plate every day. How does he find time for hobbies?"

"But he's really good at it. Said he picked it up a few years back in his spare time."

Ryan sighed, "Mr. Foster's the smartest guy I know. To master hacking in his free time? That's insane."

Adeline's hand trembled slightly.

If she remembered right, after marrying Jasper, she once told him she found guys who knew hacking super attractive.

She even asked him if he knew anything about it.

But Jasper had just given her a cold look and said, "Hackers are just slightly smarter programmers. Why not like programmers instead?"

Since then, Adeline never brought up her love for hacking to Jasper again.

After Blake was born, she noticed he had a natural knack for computers. His teachers said he had a real talent.

Adeline thought maybe God was making up for her tough early life by giving Blake a skill she loved.

But now, hearing Ryan, she finally got it.

Blake's talent came from Jasper.

Jasper wasn't clueless about hacking; he was actually really good. The skills he picked up out of boredom were on par with what she had painstakingly taught Blake.

But when she mentioned her interest in hacking, he coldly denied knowing anything about it.

A man who doesn't love you won't even bother to show off what he has, right?

"Adeline?" Ryan's voice broke her thoughts.

"I'm here," she replied.

"The plane's about to take off," Ryan said, taking a deep breath. "We'll be in Radiance Springs in about five hours and start looking into the video leak."

"Yesterday's meeting was top secret. Someone recorded and posted it online. We need to find out who."

"Otherwise, this could get out of hand."

Adeline frowned and nodded. "You're right."

The person who did this could do it again.

Her design sketches were company secrets until they were officially released.

"Get your assistant to list everyone who was at the meeting. And think about who might be suspicious during these five hours." With that, Ryan hung up.

Adeline stood on the balcony, phone in hand, looking at the bustling city below.

She had a suspect in mind.

But would Jasper handle it?

After a long silence, she took a deep breath and called Blake.

"I don't think I messed up," Blake said, sounding excited when Adeline mentioned Jasper. "So it was Jasper I was up against."

"No wonder Brian's firewall was so tough. I thought he got some computer whiz."

Blake couldn't help but add, "But if it was Jasper, he might've gone easy on me."

Blake had faced off with Jasper before, and Jasper's skills were definitely superior.

When he hacked into Brian's computer last night, he hit some roadblocks but managed to get through.

Adeline paused. "Is he really that good at hacking?"

"Yeah, he's really good," Blake said, pursing his lips. "It might take me a few more years to get to his level."

Blake's words made Adeline's heart sink even more.

After a few more words with Blake, Adeline hung up and went back to the living room.

Violet had breakfast ready.

She called Adeline over, giving her a curious look. "Brian admitted to stealing your design sketches; that's great news. Why do you look so down?"

Adeline forced a smile, lowered her head, and started eating.

Five hours later, at the Foster Group building, it was the same meeting room as yesterday, with the same people.

Everyone was gathered for another meeting.

Sitting at the head of the table, Jasper looked tired and worn out.

But even so, he remained cold, proud, and aloof.

He tapped the long table rhythmically, a faint, indifferent smile on his lips. "I'm sure everyone has seen this morning's news."

"There is no plagiarism issue. The theft of design sketches was done solely by Brian, unrelated to Daniel."

As Jasper finished, Scarlett, in the corner, rolled her eyes and murmured, "How can it have nothing to do with him?"

"Adeline's camera captured everything."

Adeline turned and smiled lightly at her, her voice calm. "Maybe Daniel just found my design sketches beautiful and took photos to admire them."

"While that was crossing a line, calling him a leaker of company secrets seems too much."

Scarlett bit her lip, wanting to argue but not knowing how.

So she clenched her fists tightly. "So, if that's the case, Adeline, it was because you were video chatting with Brian in the office that your designs were leaked and stolen. So, you are also responsible for leaking company secrets!"

Adeline shrugged. "I am at fault as well."

"As punishment, cancel all of Adeline's bonuses and commissions for this project," Jasper said indifferently. "Any objections?"

Adeline was the first to speak. "None."

Scarlett clenched her teeth, unable to speak.

On the side, Stella smiled lightly. "Miss Adeline Wilson's sacrifice is quite significant."

She glanced at Adeline mockingly.

Adeline knew Stella was mocking her for sacrificing herself for Daniel.

No one understood the situation better than Stella.

Adeline narrowed her eyes slightly and coldly met Stella's gaze.

"Let's set aside the plagiarism issue for now," Jasper said, rubbing his forehead lightly. "Next, we need to address the video issue from yesterday."

Ryan placed a document in front of Jasper.

Jasper coldly tossed the document onto the long table. "According to the investigation, the IP address that uploaded the video belongs to the Foster Group's jewelry design department."

"Whose computer is number 52?"

The entire meeting room fell silent for a few seconds.

Finally, Lucia stood up, trembling with fear. "I remember that computer number 52..."

She glanced silently at Stella. "For the past month and a half, Mrs. Foster has been using it."
