Chapter 624 How Can You Keep Hitting Me
Adeline froze when she heard that all-too-familiar voice and quickly glanced up. It was Molly.
Right then, Molly was taking off her sunglasses and hat, striding confidently onto the stage. "Mr. Nathan Foster, you said I contacted you, claiming Jasper was dying, and told you and Rex to come back to grab his estate. Got any proof? And you also accused me of leaking info, making you announce Jasper's death, and split his estate. Again, got any proof?"
Molly's rapid-fire questions made Nathan's face turn a nasty shade of red. He clenched his teeth and shot Molly a venomous look. "What proof could I have? You called us from a virtual number, said a few words, and hung up before we could even record it!"
Molly's eyes narrowed slightly. So Nathan really did want to record her. Good thing she was smart enough not to leave any evidence.
Molly knew Nathan would be a pain to deal with in the future. With a soft chuckle, she stepped onto the stage. "If there's no evidence, then I can sue you for slander, right?"
Nathan's eyes narrowed as he turned to Jasper. "Jasper, everything I said is true! You have to believe me!"
Jasper frowned but stayed silent.
Seeing Jasper's silence, Molly chuckled again and spoke coldly, "Even an idiot can tell you're lying. Why would I want you to come back and fight for Jasper's estate, and twice at that? Even though I hate Jasper for treating me and my child poorly."
She looked at Jasper tenderly. "I still have feelings for Jasper. I think he was just momentarily misled by others."
Then, she turned her gaze to Nathan and Rex. "Why would I help you fight for his estate? Besides, you said I only called and hung up after speaking. I didn't negotiate any terms, yet I'm willing to help you seize the estate when Jasper is in danger. This will only make Jasper despise me."
Molly's words left Nathan speechless. He stared at Molly, dumbfounded, for a long time.
Until the police pushed open the doors of the press conference. "Who called the police?"
"It was me!" Mia quickly raised her hand and waved to the police, "Over here!"
A few young, righteous police officers walked onto the stage.
After Mia recounted what had happened and showed the video taken by the reporters, Rex was immediately taken away by the police.
According to the procedure, Adeline, the victim, and Jasper should have gone to make a statement as well.
But considering Jasper's injuries, the police only took Rex and advised Adeline and Jasper to go to the hospital for a medical report and make a statement as soon as possible.
Soon, the sound of sirens faded into the distance.
Nathan slumped on the stage. He knew that Rex would be spending a long time in prison. He glared at Molly and then stormed towards her. "This is all your fault!"

Nathan's face gradually softened. He took a deep breath, said nothing, and left with Brenda. As soon as they were gone, Jasper's earpiece buzzed with Jason's voice. "Nathan and Brenda took a cab towards the Foster Manor. Should I send more people to protect your grandmother?"
Jasper narrowed his eyes and responded coldly, "Send everyone you have."
Jason rolled his eyes and silently hung up the phone. He shouldn't have cared about Jasper!

Seeing Rex taken away and Nathan leaving, the reporters figured there wouldn't be any more big news today and started packing up to leave.
Just as the reporters stood up to go, Molly spoke calmly, "Why are you leaving? Don't you want big news?"
The reporters frowned and turned back.
What big news?
Adeline, who was helping Jasper down the stage, also frowned and instinctively looked back. With just one glance, she froze.
At that moment, Molly, on the stage, took out a projector and displayed several photos on the big screen. These photos were all of Bennett, each one showing him after being beaten.
His whole body was covered in bruises from being beaten and pinched! Adeline's tears fell instantly upon seeing these photos!
All three children were her babies! How could Bennett be so severely injured?
She let go of Jasper and rushed forward. "Molly! I'll fight you to the death!"
How could Molly treat Bennett like this!
Adeline had previously comforted herself, thinking Molly wouldn't harm Bennett! But these photos made it impossible for her to suppress her anger and sadness.
Bennett was only six years old! With so many injuries, he must have been beaten very badly. It was her fault, and Jasper's fault! They hadn't been good parents to Bennett, which led to this!

Jasper frowned, his anger reaching its peak, but he still stepped forward, enduring the pain in his abdomen, and pulled Adeline up. "Stop hitting her."
When Adeline was pulled up, her hair was disheveled and stuck to her face with sweat. Though still stunningly beautiful, her face was filled with madness.
Molly weakly got up from the ground, wiping her tears and fixing her hair while crying. "Adeline, how can you shamelessly continue to hit me after beating my child?"
