Chapter 1001 The Greeting on the Card is Quite Simple: Wishing Mrs. Hall and Mr. Hall a Happy Marriage
As Brady heard the servant's report, he was just about to get down to business, his brows furrowing slightly in irritation. Why deliver it at night?
"Go downstairs, we'll be down in a bit," Brady said, suppressing his anger as he spoke to the maid through the door.
The maid had no idea what they were doing inside and didn't dare to enter. She lowered her head and said, "Yes, Mr. Hall, Mrs. Hall."
With that, she headed downstairs.
Once the maid left, Violet nudged Brady, who was holding her tightly. "Should we go check? Could it be a gift from my brother?"
She had informed Ethan and Juniper about her wedding plans a few days ago.
Ethan had mentioned he would try to fly back to attend.
Could it be from him?
"Ethan?" Brady propped himself up, his voice tinged with displeasure.
He hadn't even started his business, and now they had to go downstairs?
How could this be?
"Alright, let's go?" Violet, blushing, ignored a certain part of him and quickly tried to get off the glass cabinet.
Brady stopped her, his voice restraining a bit of temper. "If you leave, what about me?"
"Can't you handle it yourself?" Violet punched him lightly.
Brady chuckled. "Darling, what kind of man has a wife and still has to use his hand to satisfy himself?"
"Are you deliberately torturing me?"
Violet fell silent.
"So, are you suggesting we finish up before going down?"
"Of course." Brady smiled and leaned down to bite her earlobe.
Violet's body went weak from his bite, almost fell off the glass cabinet. She had to grab his shirt tightly to steady herself, then said softly, "You almost made me fall."
"Darling, you'd better hold on tight, or I might knock you off later." Brady's voice was filled with laughter as he continued to kiss her.
Violet felt he was like a wolf!
Never satisfied.
But despite her complaints, Violet enjoyed his various teasing and caresses.
Soon, she couldn't resist and surrendered.
Forty minutes later.
After an intense and passionate session, Violet was eager to check out the wedding gift. As soon as he finished, she hurried to get down.
Brady, taking his time, put on his pants and carried her down, saying, "Want to take a shower before going down?"
"It's just flowers, it won't take long."
Violet thought about it. They had been at it for so long, their bodies were sweaty and sticky.
"Alright."
"Good girl." Brady loved how she looked soft and obedient in his arms, cute and docile.
Then the two headed to the bathroom for a quick shower.
After showering, they changed into casual clothes and went downstairs.
In the living room, there was indeed a large black gift box filled with pink roses.
On top of the roses was a platinum greeting card.
Violet walked over, happily sniffing the roses' scent, then asked the maid, "Did my brother send these flowers?"
The maid didn't know, as the flowers were delivered by a florist's employee.
He hadn't mentioned that the flowers were from Ethan in Eldoria.
So the maid shook her head and said, "Mrs. Hall, I don't know. The flowers were delivered by a florist employee who just said 'Congratulations' on your wedding."
"Let me see." Violet couldn't get an answer, so she pulled out the card to see if her brother had left a message.
Opening the card, she saw that the sender was Aria.
Violet's previously good mood soured a bit.
However, the greeting was simple: Wishing Mrs. Hall and Mr. Hall a lifetime of happiness.
Violet couldn't find any major flaws.
"What? Not from your brother?" Brady asked, noticing her unusual expression.
"No, it's from the owner of the bridal shop where I bought my dress." Violet deliberately crumpled the card and threw it in the trash, saying indifferently.
Brady saw her throw the card away, felt a bit suspicious, but didn't ask further. "Should we arrange the flowers?"
