Charlotte gracefully approached the front desk, lifting her chin slightly with an air of confidence, and handed her resume to the receptionist.
She spoke with pride, "Excuse me, my name is Charlotte. I'm here to report to the PR department."
The receptionist glanced at her resume and was slightly taken aback.

She then dialed the PR department's extension to inform the supervisor.
A minute later, she hung up and smiled again, "Ms. Devereux, you can take your resume to the PR department on the 10th floor."
Charlotte nodded and picked up her resume and walked towards the elevator in her high heels.
As soon as she left, the receptionist couldn't help but gossip, "Do you know where that girl graduated from?"
"Where?"
"Aldwych University! One of the top five universities in the world!"
"So what? She's here to work at the Hall Group."
"Exactly. Look at her flashy outfit. It's so pretentious!"
"Who cares? No matter how flashy she dresses, she won't catch Mr. Hall's eye. He's a married man."
"Don't be so sure. Those women who studied abroad can be quite formidable."
"Do you think she joined the Hall Group for Mr. Hall?"

After taking the elevator up, Charlotte confidently walked into the PR department.
Just as she arrived, Calliope was coming out with some materials and curiously looked at her. "Hi, can I help you?"
Charlotte glanced at Calliope and replied dismissively, "I'm the new hire reporting today, Charlotte, a graduate of Aldwych University."
"Oh, you're the one from the prestigious university?" Calliope realized and warmly said, "Come with me. Our supervisor is in another office."
Charlotte nodded and followed Calliope towards the supervisor's office.
Suddenly, she asked, "Do we often interact with the executive office in the PR department?"
Calliope, being straightforward, didn't catch any ulterior motives and thought she was just curious.
She warmly replied, "Yes, we frequently work with the executive office to handle company crises and public image."
Hearing this, Charlotte's lips curled into a seductive and confident smile.
'From today, Violet, I can officially declare war on you.' She thought.
