Chapter 711 Can't I Kiss You Just Because
"Alright, you two take care on your way," Violet said, trying to keep her emotions in check as she looked at Ethan.
Even though they hadn't spent much time together, the bond of family was undeniable.
Despite the brief time they had shared, the thought of parting brought a tinge of sadness to Violet's heart.
"You too, take care of yourself," Ethan replied with a gentle smile, giving her shoulder a light pat. "We will be going now."
"Okay," Violet nodded.
Ethan took Juniper's hand and headed towards the security checkpoint.
Just as they were about to enter, Violet called out, "Ethan, make sure to visit often when you can."
Ethan and Juniper turned around to look at her.
Violet was already waving at them.
A wave of emotion washed over Ethan. She had finally acknowledged him as her brother.
He promised himself that he and Juniper would visit often.
After watching them for a moment, Ethan and Juniper turned back and continued through security.
Violet watched their figures disappear, then took the hands of the two children beside her and walked out of the airport.
At that moment, a plane roared overhead in the clear blue sky.
Violet looked up at the plane streaking across the sky, feeling a bit melancholic again.
The two children beside her, however, were thrilled to see such a big plane up close for the first time. They clapped their little hands and babbled excitedly.
They hugged her legs, begging her to take them on a plane too.
Violet, unable to resist their pleading, lovingly patted their heads. "Henry, Nicole, do you want to fly on a plane?"
Henry, inspired by Peppa Pig's adventures, eagerly shouted, "Yes!"
Nicole, not quite able to speak yet, babbled in agreement, clearly wanting to fly too.
Violet smiled and touched their cheeks. "When your dad finishes his work, I'll ask him to take you on a plane, okay?"
Henry and Nicole clapped their hands in delight and babbled excitedly.
Violet took their hands and led them to the waiting car, where the driver was ready to take them home.
That evening, Brady came home from work as usual.
Violet greeted him at the door.
Brady was surprised to see her waiting like a scene from a TV show.
His first reaction was to feel flattered, and his second was to suspect she had something to discuss.
As he changed his shoes in the entryway, he asked, "Why are you waiting for me here today?"
"I just wanted to see you right away," Violet said, taking advantage of the moment when no one was in the living room.
She wrapped her arms around his waist, stood on tiptoe, and kissed him.
Brady was even more surprised.
He looked at his unusually affectionate Violet with raised eyebrows. "You must have something to tell me, right?"
"Can't I kiss you just because?" Violet said, exasperated.
"Come on, you must have something," Brady insisted, still skeptical.
"It's nothing," Violet said, amused.
She smiled and added, "I just wanted to kiss you, but I do have something to discuss."
