Chapter 669 Apology
Brady went to find out who hit Violet, while she carefully rested in the hospital to protect her pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Juniper was having a rough time.
In Elysiuma, there was no one Brady couldn't track down.
So, while Juniper was sulking in the hotel, mad at her father and brother, Brady showed up. He even took down her brother's bodyguards.
He walked in.
The bodyguards immediately contacted Ethan.
But it was too late; Brady had already taken Juniper away.
Juniper knew this man was Violet's husband. Although she was scared, she remembered Violet was her father's illegitimate daughter, which made her less afraid. She arrogantly said, "Mr. Hall, you better let me go. If my father and brother find out, they won't let you off."
Brady hated being threatened, so he calmly scoffed, "Ms. Lawson, did you think about calling your father and brother when you hit someone? You're a grown woman. Don't you think it's time you stopped hiding behind your family?"
These words humiliated Juniper, making her face turn red. She bit her lip and said, "Mr. Hall, bullying a weak woman doesn't show much skill."
"Ms. Lawson, my family is my bottom line. You crossed it, understand?"
Weak woman? Brady thought she had plenty of strength when she hit someone.
"I didn't do it on purpose," Juniper said angrily.
"Whether it was intentional or not, shouldn't you apologize for hitting someone? That's basic common sense, right?" Brady had no patience for her nonsense.
After saying this, he didn't plan to say more.
Juniper was so angry she ground her teeth. She hated being forced to apologize.
Even if she didn't do it on purpose, Violet deserved it, right?
After all, Violet was her father's illegitimate daughter.
But her tantrum was useless. This was Elysiuma, not Eldoria. No one could save her except herself.
So when she was brought to Violet's hospital room, she had no choice but to apologize.
Before apologizing, Juniper still disdainfully said, "Ms. Devereux, I can apologize, but I hope you also apologize to my mom."
Violet frowned, not understanding her meaning and finding it a bit funny. "I don't even know your mom. Why should I apologize to her?"
"You know what your mom did, and what you did. So I can apologize, but you need to apologize to my mom," Juniper said coldly.
Her words were confusing.
Violet didn't understand until Brady hinted at her. "You're from the Lawson family?"
Juniper didn't deny it. "Yes, so you should apologize to my mom, right?"
Violet was speechless but understood. Given her situation, James's wife wouldn't accept her immediately. She smiled faintly and said, "Sorry, my mom and your dad were in love before marriage. As for me, even if my mom hid my birth from your dad, I haven't affected the Lawson family at all. Not now, and not in the future."
Actually, she didn't even want the 20% shares.
