Chapter 409 Meet Matilda
Ever since Gerry and Violet's affair blew up online, Pelinka thought nothing would go south.
But by evening, all the news had disappeared. Lilian, in tears, got out of the car with her bag and stormed into the Devereux villa's living room.
Once inside, she didn't say a word. She just threw herself into her mom Eileen's arms, sobbing. "Violet is such a bitch."
"Lilian, what's wrong?" Eileen, clueless that Lilian had been fired, gently wiped her tears and asked.
"Violet got Brady to fire me. I busted my ass to get into the Hall Group. She's so hateful," Lilian gritted her teeth and started venting.
Eileen's face immediately darkened, her eyes sharp. "Didn't today's scandal bring her down? How dare she still come after you?"
"Brady found out." Lilian was now a bit scared. She thought Oliver would handle it perfectly.
But she didn't expect them to be exposed so quickly.
"She also told me to resign immediately and said that I must beg her so I can live in New Future City. What should I do?" Lilian cried deliberately for Pelinka to see.
She knew Pelinka would help her.

She had some connections with Matilda before.

Matilda asked, "Just tell me what's going on."
"Actually, it's hard to explain over the phone. Do you have time tomorrow? Can we meet up? I have something very important to discuss with you."
Matilda answered, "Tomorrow? I'm available in the morning."
In the afternoon, she planned to visit Violet.
Of course, she didn't know about Brady's injury. Brady didn't want Matilda to worry, so he hadn't told her yet.
