Chapter 366 What Will People Think if You Move in?

When Violet rolled back to Emily's mansion, she still looked like she'd seen a ghost. Her kids were goofing off in the living room, and she didn't wanna kill their vibe, so she just plopped down quietly, trying to chill and figure out a game plan.

Hellen clocked it right away and knew something was up. She strolled over and said, "Violet, what's the deal? You look like you've seen a ghost. Don't freak me out."

Violet felt like bawling but kept it together. Tears weren't gonna solve jack.

"Brady found out about the kids," she muttered, biting her lip.

Hellen's jaw dropped. "He did? What the heck are we gonna do?"

"Brady wants us to move in with him, or he's gonna fight me for the kids," Violet said, messing with her dress.

"You can't do that. You guys aren't even hitched. What's everyone gonna think?" Hellen, being all old-school, thought it was a bad look.

'The Devereux family already trashed Violet's rep. Shacking up with Brady would just make it worse,' she thought.

Hellen didn't want Violet to end up single with two kids forever.

"I know it's not perfect, but what else can I do?" Violet said. "If there was another way, I wouldn't be freaking out."

Hellen thought for a sec. "How about I take the kids and we bounce outta town for a bit?"

Violet shook her head. Brady was too powerful. He'd track them down even if they went to Timbuktu.

"Hellen, it's pointless. We can't dodge him," Violet said. "I'm gonna move in first and then figure something out."

"You really agreed to this?" Hellen still wanted to push back.

She didn't want Violet to trash her reputation.

Violet got where Hellen was coming from. Moving in with Brady could mess up her future dating life.

But if she didn't, Brady would snatch the kids, and she couldn't let that fly. "Hellen, I've got no other choice. The kids and I are moving in tomorrow. If he sends his goons to take the kids, it'll be a disaster."

Hellen let out a big sigh. They'd tried so hard to dodge Brady, but now they were outta options.

"Violet, I'm with you," Hellen said.

"Okay," Violet nodded. "Hellen, don't stress. I'll figure out a way to keep the kids safe."

"And keep yourself safe too," Hellen added, worried Brady might go after Violet. "Don't let him..."

Violet pressed her lips together, not wanting to admit she'd already been with Brady. "Hellen, don't worry. I won't get myself involved with Brady."

"That's good." Hellen felt a bit better as long as Violet wasn't also in Brady's crosshairs.

The decision was made. After a night of heavy thinking, Violet felt a bit more chill.

Since she couldn't change the situation, she'd move in first and then find a way out.
