Chapter 262 I Would Make Those Who Hurt Violet Pay Hundreds of Times

"If anything happens to Hellen, I will make those who hurt her pay hundreds of times," Brady said very seriously as if making a promise to Violet.

This seriousness, mixed with Brady's unique dominance, made Pelinka, Eileen, and Gerry instantly shudder.

In New York, Brady was well-known for being untouchable.

Naturally, they dared not truly offend him.

Thus, their faces turned as pale and stiff as if coated with a layer of white paint, and they all instinctively clenched their fingers.

"Mr. Hall, it's all a misunderstanding. We are not that kind of vulgar people." Pelinka restrained her anger and fear, pulling a big and false smile at the corner of her mouth toward Brady.

"Pelinka, if that's the case, then it's best. Violet is my woman; I don't want her to be bullied." Brady looked coldly at them, his voice firm and domineering.

Brady directly declared his ownership over Violet in front of the Devereux family.

This made Violet's face turn a bit awkward for a moment, and Emily, upon hearing it, turned her face away in embarrassment.

Although Brady was not easy to get close to, he really knew how to protect the woman he set his eyes on.

Unfortunately, Violet couldn't agree to be with him.

The matter of Henry and Nicole was big.

Brady couldn't marry Violet.

Violet also had this idea. Brady had his flaws, but he was really generous and protective towards women. For some reason, no matter how touched and flustered Violet was, she couldn't agree to his request.

With Brady's protective and domineering oath, Pelinka was really angry. Despite the anger in her chest, she continued to smile and said, "Mr. Hall, we understand."

Brady gave them a cold glance, feeling it wasn't enough, and said, "Her hand is injured. What are you going to do about it?"

Brady spoke slowly, but each word was icy and assertive.

Pelinka and Eileen were a bit intimidated and dared not speak.

"Do I need to take action myself? My actions are not as simple as a finger bleeding." After Brady's words, Eileen's face turned pale again. She looked at her husband, Gerry.

Gerry was a complete coward. He completely ignored Eileen's pleading eyes, pretended not to see anything, and moved to the side.

"It looks like I have to take action, right?" Brady continued.

Eileen bit her lip, glared at Violet resentfully, and took the initiative to bear the punishment, as having Pelinka take the blame was unrealistic.

Eileen could only pick up the small knife used to peel apples on the coffee table and reluctantly cut her fingers one by one.

As Eileen cut her fingers, they broke the skin and bled. She put down the knife and said, "Mr. Hall, Ms. Devereux, are you satisfied?"

Violet coldly looked at Eileen and felt indifferent. Eileen cutting her own fingers wouldn't make up for what the Devereuxs did to her and her mom.

Violet remained silent. Brady glanced at her and said directly, "Violet, if they bully you again in the future, you must fight back. You are my woman. Bullying you is bullying me. If you don't fight back, it's like making me lose my dignity, understood?"

It was such a gentle yet bold defense.

Violet was first stunned, then the inappropriate throbbing in her heart burst in an instant, but she didn't let this throbbing last too long. She couldn't let his words cloud her judgment. She had to think more about Henry and Nicole.

However, in this situation, for Hellen's safety, she could only comply with him and said, "I understand. I won't let you lose your dignity."

"Let's go." Brady was very satisfied with Violet's rare compliance. He smiled and domineeringly took Violet's hand, leading her away.

Seeing this, Emily quickly followed them.

After they left, Pelinka's suppressed anger erupted instantly from being scolded by Brady and witnessing Eileen's self-harming act of cutting her fingers. She bent over and heavily smashed the glass teapot on the clean marble floor.

The glass teapot shattered into pieces.

Pelinka, still unsatisfied, looked at the shards on the floor. She gritted her teeth as if she wanted to bite Violet to pieces and viciously said, "That little bitch, Violet, has really hooked up with Brady. She is very capable! She has indeed inherited her mother's skills."

After cursing, Eileen, holding her still bleeding finger, walked around the broken pieces on the floor to Pelinka's side, crying. "Mom, what should we do? This bitch Violet has attached herself to Brady. Can't we bother her anymore? What about Lilian? Lilian cursed her a few times before. If Violet wants revenge, it will be easy. Mom, help poor Lilian!"

Thinking of Lilian and looking at Eileen's finger wound, Pelinka felt a surge of pity. "Even if Violet attaches herself to Brady, so what? Does she think she can easily enter the Hall family?"

"But she's so smug, isn't she?" Eileen continued to cry.

"Stop crying. I will handle this matter." Pelinka looked fiercely at the night outside the door; she was not done with Violet over this!
