Chapter 447 I'm Not Upset About This, I Just Care About the Child

Meanwhile, inside The Hall Mansion.

After returning from the company, Violet felt a bit down. Lilian had told her that Ava would be back today, so what should she do?

Should she take the initiative to find her or wait for her to come? She had to find a way to protect her children.

Hellen, who was feeding the children, noticed that Violet seemed to be in a bad mood and came over to ask with concern, "Violet, what's wrong? Why do you seem so unhappy?"

"I'm fine." Violet glanced at Hellen and forced a smile.

"Really?" Hellen was a bit skeptical.

If Violet was fine, why did she look so preoccupied?

"Yes, I'm fine," Violet reassured Hellen. "I need to talk to Emily later. Can you help me withthe kids?"

Hellen agreed. She suddenly remembered that Brady hadn't come back today, then asked, "Why didn't Brady come back today? Is he on a business trip?"

"No, he's staying at Matilda's for the night," Violet said as she started changing her shoes.

Henry and Nicole saw that Violet was about to leave again.

They immediately ran over and hugged Violet, not letting her go.

Especially Henry, who was more articulate than Nicole, grabbed Violet and said angrily, "Mom, you're going out again."

Nicole followed Henry and protested, "Mom..."

Violet really couldn't do anything about them. She patted their heads, saying gently, "Henry, Nicole, I have something to do and will be back soon. Be good, okay?"

Henry shook his head. "No, Mom, I want to go with you." Violet worked every day and only had time to take care of them in the evening.

They really wanted to be with her every day.

So when she came back from work, they especially liked to cling to her, almost following her everywhere.

"Henry, be good, okay? I have something to do now and can't stay with you," Violet patiently persuaded him.

Henry still wanted to cling to Violet, but Hellen came over and pulled him and Nicole away. "Violet, go ahead. I'll take care of them."

Violet nodded, held back her reluctance, quickly put on her shoes, and went out.

Outside the mansion, she looked back at the children and felt sad.

When could she take the children out together?

Instead of always hiding like this, the children couldn't play outside often.

But for now, it seemed impossible unless Brady completely gave up on her and the children, then she could be free.

Violet put away her grievances and started calling Emily.

Emily was out running errands at the moment. When she received Violet's call, she immediatelyreturned to the mansion to pick her up.

They then got in the car and started driving around the highway.

Emily looked at the despondent Violet and sighed, saying with concern, "Violet, don't be sad. Maybe things will be good?"

Everyone knew that Ava was coming back.

Especially this time, she brought Olivia, who had a very good family background.

The purpose was too obvious. She was probably going to introduce her to Brady as a girlfriend.

Others didn't know that Brady liked Violet, but Emily did.

So what should Violet do now?

Violet wasn't sad about Brady potentially having a new girlfriend. She had anticipated this before.

Even if she had feelings for him, even if she loved him, she would remain rational.

So now that this happened, she didn't care. She only cared about what would happen to the children. "I'm not upset about this. I'm just thinking about the children."
