Chapter 913 Honey, Wait for Me

Violet and the kids didn't have much luggage, so packing up was a breeze.

But Henry had collected a bunch of sea creatures from the beach and was adamant about taking them home.

He insisted that Violet pack them up so he could play with them later.

Violet had no choice but to ask Hellen to find some plastic wrap or something to pack them in.

Once everything was sorted, Violet instructed Hellen and the nanny to carry the two kids to the private jet waiting on the runway.

When they reached the jet, Violet took advantage of a moment when Brady and Eddy were deep in conversation to lean in and whisper to Hellen, "Hellen, I'm not going back with you. Can you make sure Henry and Nicole get back to the Hall Mansion safely for me?"

Hellen was in the dark about what was going on. She only knew that a maid had run away on the island, and Brady had some urgent business, so they had to head home early.

That was all.

But something about the way Violet said this felt off to her.

"Violet, is something wrong? Why aren't you coming back with us?" Hellen asked, worried.

"It's nothing. I just don't want to leave him here to handle things alone." Violet gently squeezed Hellen's hand and reminded her again, "Hellen, please take care of Henry and Nicole for me."

Hellen frowned, her worry deepening. "Violet, you're making me concerned."

"There's nothing to worry about." Violet smiled, not saying much more. She hugged Henry and Nicole and then walked over to Brady. "Honey, are you done talking?"

"Almost," Brady replied, glancing back at her before wrapping up his conversation with Eddy.

He gave Eddy a look, signaling him to leave the plane first.

Eddy understood, grabbed his laptop, and headed out.

Before leaving, he said goodbye to Calliope.

He wasn't sure if this situation would be dangerous, but as Brady's assistant, he couldn't back down from any challenge.

So before stepping off the plane, he hugged Calliope tightly and said, "Calliope, wait for me to come back."

"Eddy, what's going on?" Calliope asked, her face full of worry.

Eddy gently stroked her hair and said, "It's nothing. Just wait for me."

"Okay." Calliope couldn't get any more information out of him and didn't push further.

She nodded obediently and sat back inside the cabin.

Eddy took one last, loving look at Calliope, took a deep breath, and then turned to leave the plane.

If he made it back safely, he was going to propose to her.

Inside the cabin, Brady held Violet close, showering her with kisses and sweet words for a few minutes before finally letting her go. "Honey, wait for me."

"Okay," Violet replied, looking up at him. Brady didn't notice anything amiss.

"I'll be back soon," Brady said, reluctant to leave Violet. But he owed Lance a life debt, a favor he had to repay.

So he had to stay and protect Julie.

"Come back quickly. Henry, Nicole, and the baby are all waiting for you!" Violet said, standing on her tiptoes to kiss him gently.

After the kiss, Brady hugged her and kissed her back a few times before they reluctantly parted.

Brady's eyes were filled with longing as he said, "I'm leaving now."

"Okay," Violet nodded obediently.

She watched as Brady got off the plane.

From the cabin window, she saw Brady, Eddy, and Arthur watching their plane.

Violet immediately instructed the pilot to close the cabin door and taxi a short distance before letting her off.

The pilot understood and started the plane slowly.

The three men below watched the plane for a moment before turning away.

Seeing them turn away, Violet quickly told the pilot to open the door so she could get off.
