Chapter 1053 She Thought She Had Spilled That Bowl of Soup, Could She Leave Sensibly?

Around 1:30 PM, the employees of the Hall Group wrapped up their lunch break and headed back to work.

The incident in the cafeteria earlier spread like wildfire throughout the Hall Group, including JK.

The female designers who returned first took advantage of their coffee breaks to gather in the break room and discuss the event.

No one could understand why Violet had thrown soup at Aria. Was it a misunderstanding or something else?

They whispered and gossiped for a while until someone noticed Aria returning to JK and quickly signaled for silence, saying, "Shh, Aria's coming."

"Didn't she change her clothes?" someone asked, noticing that Aria was still wearing her stained dress and looking curious.

"No idea. Could it be intentional?"

"Why would she do that on purpose?" another person asked, puzzled.

"I guess she must have offended Ms. Devereux. We've been working with Ms. Devereux for almost two years now, and we've never seen her bully a newcomer for no reason, especially not in front of Mr. Hall."

The designer's speculation was met with nods of agreement from the others.

"So, there must be some issue between them?"

"Definitely. Anyway, let's stop talking. She's already here," another person said softly, holding their coffee cup.

With that, everyone fell silent, picked up their coffee cups, and returned to their workstations.

Aria walked in wearing her stained dress and went straight to her desk. Her expression was calm, showing no signs of distress. However, her fingers were tightly clenched, with her knuckles turning white and red from the pressure.

Today's humiliation fueled her desire for revenge against Violet. She had worked hard for many years, striving to be more than just an ordinary designer.

After calming down at her desk for a while, Aria decided she needed to take action. Otherwise, Violet would continue to think she was easy to bully.

Aria took out her phone and quickly found an international number. It belonged to Leo Schmidt, a man who had pursued her while she was abroad. She didn't like him, but she needed his help this time. Leo was the assistant to the chairman of the Ellen Design Award.

She needed a fake Ellen Design Award invitation to trick Violet into going abroad.

Aria contacted Leo and began to arrange the fake invitation.

Meanwhile, Violet, after finishing her meeting with Brady, passed through the designers' office area on her way back to JK. She saw Aria sitting at her desk, head down, and raised an eyebrow.

She was surprised by Aria's composure. She had expected Aria to leave after the soup incident. But here she was, remaining calm.

Violet withdrew her gaze and returned to her office. She wondered how long Aria could endure.

After work, Violet waited for Brady. Unlike the other designers who left promptly at the end of the day, she stayed in her office, reviewing design drafts and listening to music on her phone.

After a while, there was a knock on the door.

Violet removed her headphones and called out, "Come in."

The door opened, and Max entered, holding a new design order. He walked in with a gentle expression.

"Violet, are you busy today?" Max asked. Since she had her daughter, she hadn't been to JK for a while. Max had spent the entire day meeting clients outside and only found out she was back at the company when he returned at the end of the day. He was delighted to see her.

"Not too busy," Violet replied, pausing her music and looking at Max.

Max nodded. "That's good. Recently, JK received a project for a film studio. Do you want to oversee it?"

Violet was curious. "What film studio?"
