Chapter 357 Act Sooner to Let Violet Know the Consequences
Oliver lay on the bed, fuming with anger, as he scrolled through his phone messages in the villa's second-floor bedroom. The more he scrolled, the angrier he became.
Last night, he had almost had his way with Violet, but who would have thought that wretched Violet would strike his vulnerable spot, leaving him in excruciating pain?
This was a humiliation he could not swallow. He couldn't just let it go; he had to find a way to get Violet. Oliver glared at his phone screen with resentment. Just then, Lilian knocked and entered. Oliver glanced at her and snapped, "What do you want?"
"Oliver, are you alright?" Lilian feigned a gentle concern as she approached.
"I won't die," Oliver retorted, still in a foul mood.
"I brought you some supplements," Lilian said, placing the items by his bedside. She then cut to the chase, "Oliver, what are you planning to do? That little wretch Violet escaped last night, but you suffered."
"I'll bring Violet back and make her suffer," Oliver said through gritted teeth at the thought of Violet.
Lilian pretended to sigh and said, "You'd better act quickly. She's cozying up to Brady now."
"What did you say?" Oliver frowned, his eyes fierce as he looked at Lilian. "Is she really with Brady? How can I act then?"
He added, "I saw them together at the golf course last time, but I thought Brady was just playing around."
"Of course, he's just playing around. Do you think Brady would seriously care for her? With her reputation?" Lilian said, aiming to add fuel to the fire.
"She really has some nerve. No wonder Brady kicked me at the Hall Group last time," Oliver growled. Suddenly, he remembered something and looked at Lilian. "Didn't you say they weren't together last time? Are you playing me?"
Startled by his gaze, Lilian put on a pitiful expression and said, "Oliver, how could I dare play you? I really didn't know. I only found out yesterday!"
"Really?" Oliver asked.
"Yes, otherwise why would I come to see you so early?" Lilian said, looking extremely innocent.
Oliver, who usually didn't doubt Lilian, thought for a moment and then said, "How can I act now? If I do, I'll offend Brady."
"You'll always have a chance to act." Lilian gently suggested, "If you want to kidnap Violet, you can do it without letting her know it's you, right?"
She continued, "Once you succeed, do you think Brady will still help her? After being defiled by another man, Brady will surely despise her."
Oliver pondered, finding the idea feasible.
"Oliver, I really feel it's unfair for you. Look at her, messing around and still cozying up to Brady. And you? You've been mocked for over a year for being cuckolded by Violet. Everyone laughs at you for being a wimp! Oliver, are you really willing to be humiliated like this?" Lilian said.
"Damn! Of course not. Anyone who dares to cuckold me will face my revenge!" Oliver fumed at the mere mention of being cuckolded.
"So, Oliver, act quickly. Don't let Violet charm Brady. Otherwise, we'll just watch her enjoy success and happiness, and then she'll come to mock us," Lilian subtly incited.
Oliver, with a dark gaze, said, "I understand."
Oliver would act sooner to let Violet know the consequences of betraying him!

Violet had taken a contraceptive pill and returned to the mansion, where she changed her shoes. Hellen approached joyfully and said, "Violet, you're free today, right? Someone called saying they want to buy my house!"
Hearing about selling the house, Violet wasn't thrilled. She didn't really want to sell her aunt's house, but her aunt insisted. Her aunt wanted to sell the house to buy a better one for the two babies, so they could attend a good school and have their own home instead of renting from Emily.
Violet recognized her aunt's good intentions but didn't want her to proceed. Nonetheless, she was unable to prevent her.
"So soon?" Violet said, coming back to her senses.
Hellen continued, "Yes, I didn't expect someone to want to buy our house so quickly."
Violet said, "I'll go with you to check it out."
Hellen nodded. "Alright."
If the house could be sold smoothly, Hellen could get a better home for Violet, Henry, and Nicole.
