Chapter 375 Brady, Treat Violet Well

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky above the villa lit up like a giant cotton candy explosion, turning the whole neighborhood into a scene straight out of a painting.

Around 5 PM, Brady finally rolled into Matilda's villa area, his car crawling to a stop.

He killed the engine and stepped out, taking a moment to soak it all in.

Inside, Matilda and Violet were chilling on the living room sofa, deep in conversation. Brady paused on the steps, watching the scene unfold. Violet was right there with Matilda, making everything feel all warm and fuzzy.

This was the kind of homey vibe he always dreamed of—coming back from work to a woman waiting for him, and kids running around.

Yeah, this was the life Brady had always wanted.

He stood there, lost in his thoughts, until the butler noticed him and hurried over. "Mr. Hall, why don't you come in?"

"If I come in now, I'll miss this cozy scene," Brady said with a faint smile.

The butler got it and grinned. "Mrs. Hall really likes Ms. DeVere. She lights up whenever Ms. DeVere is around."

Brady nodded, a small, indulgent smile playing on his lips.

'She's really something, making Matilda this happy,' he thought.

"Let's head in," Brady said, snapping out of it.

The butler gestured for him to go up.

Brady walked into the living room, and the two on the sofa turned their heads at the sound of his footsteps. Matilda beamed, "You're home early today."

"Granny's orders, had to be here," Brady said playfully, throwing an arm around Matilda's shoulder.

"Smooth talker," Matilda snorted. "I bet it's 'cause Violet's here, huh?"

Brady chuckled. "Granny, it's 'cause both of you are here that I rushed over."

"Whatever the reason is, you have finally got a girlfriend. I'm thrilled," Matilda said, her smile almost splitting her face. She grabbed Violet's hand and Brady's, putting them together. "Brady, you better treat Violet right, got it?"

"I know, Granny." Brady didn't need reminding when it came to treating women well.

Plus, Violet had given him two kids; he wasn't about to let her suffer.

Violet stayed quiet, feeling a bit awkward between Matilda and Brady.

She knew Matilda was super kind to her, and Brady wasn't bad either, but she had to stay rational. She couldn't let the Hall family take her kids or let Brady tie her down for life.

So, Violet couldn't let herself fall for Brady.

"Let's eat first, then you can chat," Matilda said, letting go of their hands and leading them to the dining room.

They followed her obediently, heading to dinner.

During the meal, Matilda and Brady were all smiles, but Violet was in no mood.

After eating, Matilda made an excuse to leave, giving the two some alone time.

Brady took Violet for a walk in the villa's garden.

Strolling side by side, Brady glanced at the starry sky and said, "Henry's pretty sharp. Have you thought about getting him into some elite school?"
