Chapter 558 I Have Another Child, I Will Cherish My Life Even More
"What's wrong? Couldn't get through to her?" Arthur, noticing his anxious expression.
Brady nodded, his eyes filled with extreme worry.
Violet is pregnant now, why did she run off again? And why can't they find her?
"Did you try calling Calliope?" Arthur suggested.
Brady immediately called Calliope, but her phone seemed to be off as well.
Feeling puzzled but not wasting any time, Brady called the bodyguard back home, asking him to check on Violet and Calliope.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine." Arthur reassured him.
"Got it." Worrying wouldn't help; he couldn't fly back immediately.
He could only wait for the bodyguard's response.
Then the black car sped through the humid night streets of Radiantia.
Meanwhile, the flight to Radiantia finally landed at the airport. As soon as Violet and Calliope got off the plane, Violet remembered to turn on her phone.
As soon as her phone powered on, several missed calls from Brady popped up.
The same happened with Calliope.
Seeing this, Calliope quickly said, "Brady called me. Is it because he couldn't reach you, so he called me?"
Violet nodded. "I'll text him back."
It was already late at night, and she didn't want to disturb him.
But judging by the number of calls, at least it showed that Brady was okay.
Violet finally felt a bit relieved.
She then started to text him: [My phone was off, just saw your calls. I'm fine.]
Just two seconds after sending the message, her phone rang. He was calling.
So late, and he wasn't asleep?
Violet glanced at Calliope beside her and showed her the phone screen. "He should be fine."
Calliope nodded.
"Hello, Brady." Violet put the phone to her ear, her voice filled with longing for him.
But as soon as she finished speaking, Brady angrily scolded her, "Where are you? Why was your phone off again? Do you know how worried I was? Next time, don't turn off your phone randomly. It must be on 24/7."
"I know." Although Brady was angry, every word was filled with concern for her.
Violet understood, and it warmed her heart.
"What do you know? Where are you?" Brady was almost frantic. The last time she was kidnapped, it was his carelessness that led to it. He couldn't let it happen again.
"I'm at home," Violet didn't want to tell him right away that she was already in Radiantia.
"I asked Max, and he said you took leave. Where did you go?" Brady asked anxiously.
"I didn't go anywhere," Violet replied softly, "Don't be mad, or I'll be sad."
Hearing that she was sad, Brady really didn't dare to be angry. He was afraid of upsetting her and affecting the baby, so he gently asked, "Are you pregnant?"
"What do you think? Didn't you understand the video I sent you?" Violet deliberately laughed.
Her sweet voice made Brady's heart flutter.
"I understood, our baby's little heart." Brady's voice grew increasingly tender.
Brady wished he could hold Violet right then.
"When I get back, we'll get married right away," Brady said gently.
Violet nodded. "Okay, take care."
"Don't worry, now that we have a baby, I'll cherish my life even more. It's late, you should rest early." No matter what, he would come back alive to see her.
