Chapter 772 She Wants to See What Tricks Charlotte Will Use to Seduce Brady
The next day, as the sun climbed high in the sky, Brady had a jam-packed schedule.
He was set to meet an important client and attend an economic forum.
Violet knew he was busy and had her plans, so she didn't cling to him.
Instead, she got up early with him, helped him straighten his shirt, and tied his tie.
Once everything was in order, Violet stood on her tiptoes and planted a gentle kiss on his cheek. "I'll be waiting for you to come back, honey."
"Alright. If you get bored here, feel free to go out and explore," Brady said, enjoying her affectionate kiss.
His heart swelled with love.
"I won't be bored. I have a client here that I need to visit," Violet said, tugging at his black tie.
Although her trip wasn't solely for business, she figured she might as well make the most of it.
"Okay, be careful. You're due in three months," Brady said, concerned.
He wished she would take it easy, given her advanced pregnancy.
'What if something happens?' he thought.
"I know, I'll be very careful," Violet assured him with a gentle smile.
Suddenly, the baby inside her gave a strong kick.
Violet felt it and immediately grabbed Brady's large hand, placing it on her belly. "Honey, feel this. She just kicked me."
"Really?" Brady said, surprised. He gently touched her rounded belly, and sure enough, the baby responded with another kick.
The kick made Violet wince slightly.
But Brady was thrilled to feel the life inside her, his eyes filled with excitement and joy.
Their baby was strong.
"She did kick, and it was pretty strong," Violet said, rubbing her belly.
"We're going to have a strong little girl. Nicole is our princess, Henry is our prince, and this little one will be our powerful girl," Brady said tenderly.
Just as he was about to kiss her belly, his assistant knocked on the door, reminding him of his client meeting.
Brady gave Violet a quick kiss on the cheek before heading out.
As soon as he left, Violet called her bodyguard, instructing him to keep an eye on Charlotte.
She had a client to meet first, but afterward, she planned to check on what schemes Charlotte might be up to with Brady.
At the venue, Brady and his team met with the important client.
They spent two hours finalizing the cooperation plan. After the meeting, the client naturally invited them to lunch.
Brady, however, wanted to have lunch with Violet, so he politely declined, citing other commitments.
Before leaving, Charlotte secretly took their cooperation documents and hid them, planning to use them as an excuse to see Brady later.
The team returned to the Platinum Haven Hotel.
Back in his suite, Brady called Violet, hoping to invite her to lunch.
Violet lied, saying she was still busy and couldn't join him.
In reality, she had finished her work and was already back at the hotel.
She wanted to draw out Charlotte's next move.
Unable to have lunch with his wife, Brady asked his assistant to book a restaurant for the team.
After giving instructions, Brady looked for the cooperation documents they had just finalized.
When he couldn't find them, he frowned and called his assistant to check.
Losing those documents was no small matter; they contained confidential information and quotes from the Hall Group.
Just as he dialed, there was a knock at the door.
Brady, still on the phone, opened the door to find Charlotte, out of breath and holding the documents.
Charlotte wiped the sweat from her forehead and said, "Mr. Hall, I noticed Alaric didn't take the contract we discussed with Chairman Chen, so I ran back to get it."
