Chapter 270 Violet Seemed to Be Dressed Up Today, Fresh and Pure
Brady's Bentley was easy to find, parked in his exclusive parking area.
Violet took the elevator to the underground parking lot and immediately saw Brady's domineering and luxurious black Bentley, as well as the black-clad bodyguard standing next to the car.
Violet glanced at them for a moment but didn't dare to look too long, afraid of running into colleagues coming to the underground parking lot to get their cars.
So, stepping carefully, Violet glanced around, avoiding the gaze of others, and quickly made her way toward his Bentley car.
She reached the Bentley in no time, and the bodyguard knew she was the woman Brady had taken a liking to.
He courteously opened the car door for Violet.
Without hesitation or pause, Violet bent down and slipped inside.
The car was already slightly air-conditioned, not cold but pleasantly cool.
The gentle breeze inside instantly dispelled the oppressive heat of the underground parking lot, causing Violet to breathe a sigh of relief as she leaned back on the luxurious leather seat, quietly waiting for Brady.
The bodyguard who had opened the door for her earlier remained outside, waiting for Brady to arrive.
Thus, Violet found herself sitting alone in the back seat, feeling a bit nervous as she waited.
After about 10 minutes, Brady finally approached. His tall and handsome figure walked slowly, followed by a group of his staff and bodyguards. It was quite the spectacle.
Looking out through the car window at the charismatic Brady, Violet couldn't help but feel a bit more nervous.
She had harbored a long-standing crush on Brady, a secret admiration that had fizzled out after that one night.
However, their frequent interactions recently had rekindled those feelings, gripping her heart once more.
Violet knew this couldn't continue. She couldn't risk losing herself again.
She withdrew her gaze and took a deep breath to suppress the tension and unwarranted feelings and palpitations. She reminded herself that this was merely about repaying a debt of gratitude for him saving her life; she couldn't afford to entertain any other notions.
Calming her minor nerves, her emotions became less chaotic.
Brady soon arrived, his bodyguard holding the door open for him.
Brady swung his long legs inside, bringing with him a faint scent of mint and tobacco, along with his unique aura.
Violet caught a whiff and instinctively shifted slightly toward the other side of the car door, keeping a safe distance.
After Brady shut the door, Violet glanced at him and decided to speak first.
"Mr. Hall, where would you like to dine tonight? Shall I make a reservation now?" Violet said, taking out her phone as if to start booking a restaurant. "It's already past 5 o'clock, and if we don't book soon, we might not get a table at some good restaurants."
Violet knew that if she wanted to invite Brady to dinner, she couldn't take him to a subpar restaurant, as it wouldn't be fitting for his status as a CEO. However, popular restaurants were usually fully booked, especially with late reservations.
"Don't rush. With me here, are you worried we won't get a meal?" Brady leaned comfortably back in the leather seat, his deep gaze fixed on Violet beside him.
Violet seemed to have dressed up today, she looked quite fresh and innocent.
Brady liked this look, and his eyes lingered deeply upon her.
With a slight, seductive smile, Brady softly remarked, "You look beautiful tonight."
At Brady's words, Violet's face momentarily froze, her ears turning slightly red, but she didn't want to dwell on that. Suppressing the emotions stirred by this ambiguity, she continued, "So, Mr. Hall, where would you like to dine?"
"Let's go to my apartment," Brady said with a slight tug at his lips, smiling seductively.
Violet was momentarily stunned. Weren't they supposed to dine at a restaurant? Why go to Brady's apartment?
