Chapter 611 Abandoned by Family
As everyone buzzed about the explosive news, Max walked in. He'd heard about Violet's decision to resign.
He thought it was a real shame. Violet was a talented designer, and losing her would be a significant blow to JK.
So, he wanted to persuade her to stay.
When Max approached, the surrounding designers quickly scattered to their workstations, afraid of getting scolded.
"Violet, are you really resigning?" Max asked sincerely.
Violet nodded, "I don't want to break any of the Hall Group's rules." Like office romances.
If she stayed, others might start secret office relationships, which could affect the company.
"I was actually planning to promote you!" Max really didn't want her to leave. "You're the most talented designer I've ever worked with. JK needs you."
"Mr. Green, thank you for your kindness. I just don't want to burden Mr. Hall." Violet was conflicted.
Max nodded. He understood, but he didn't want to lose such a valuable talent. "Violet, JK is about to gain some serious recognition. This is a crucial moment. We really can't afford to lose you, and JK's growth benefits the Hall Group too."
Max's words touched Violet. Brady had originally planned to give JK to her, but Violet didn't want it. She didn't feel capable of managing JK, which was neither too big nor too small.
That was why she had discussed starting a studio with him today.
She planned to start with a smaller studio, and once she got the hang of it, she would take over JK.
"Mr. Green, I'll think about it and figure out what to do." Violet was still somewhat reluctant to leave.
"Alright, I actually have an idea." Max saw her wavering and quickly added.
Violet's eyes lit up, and she asked eagerly, "What's the idea?"
"You could become a partner at JK. As a partner, you can continue designing without breaking any rules. After all, partners aren't fully considered company employees." Max continued, "You could have Mr. Hall set up a shell company or a studio for you."
Mentioning the studio, Violet immediately said, "I was actually planning to start a studio."
"Perfect, you can stay here and run the studio at the same time."
Violet thought this idea sounded good and nodded, "I'll go talk to him about it."
"Great." Max was just happy she might stay.
After working together for so long, although Max had once had a crush on her, he mostly admired her talent.
Once they reached an agreement, Max returned to his office, and Violet continued her work.
Meanwhile, at the film company.
Since Michael had filed for divorce, he had pulled all his sponsorships from Ava. Although Ava had connections in the industry, she was getting older.
Even with her star status, at 48, she couldn't land endorsements like the younger, trending celebrities.
Plus, her acting range was limited.
So, when she found out at the company that all her endorsements had been pulled by her husband, she locked herself in her office for a long time.
The prouder she had been, the more miserable she felt now.
Her husband didn't want her, her son didn't want her, and even her mother-in-law had turned her back on her.
The more Ava thought about it, the worse she felt. She had been so proud, once celebrated in the entertainment industry, and cherished by the Hall family.
Now, she had nothing.
No, she couldn't just sit back and do nothing, completely abandoned. Ava decided to go see Violet.
