[Is this for real? Has Lucien gone blind and actually likes that plastic doll?] Violet muttered to herself as she switched back to her chat with Emily after scrolling through the records.
Emily had no idea, but since Willow managed to get such private photos of Lucien, it was probably true. Those kinds of ceremony photos were usually kept private. [It should be real, Violet. What should I do? I regret it. I agreed on impulse.]

Even if Emily didn't end up engaged to Austin, Violet didn't want her stuck in the endless loop of Lucien.

Lucien had never met her.

She needed to meet Lucien's grandmother, Marlowe Kelly, and arrange a date with Lucien as soon as possible.
Willow didn't waste any time. She quickly changed into a simple white cotton dress that Marlowe liked, removed her heavy makeup, applied a light touch, and drove to the Moreau Mansion to see Marlowe.
Marlowe was friends with her grandmother, and Willow had visited her before.
Marlowe was familiar with her.
So when Willow arrived with specially bought supplements, Marlowe greeted her with a wide smile. "Willow, when did you come back to the country?"
"I just got back last week. As soon as I returned, I wanted to see you," Willow said sweetly, playing the good girl role as she chatted with Marlowe.
Marlowe liked well-behaved girls, believing they made good wives and mothers.
"You're so thoughtful," Marlowe said, looking at her with increasing fondness.
"It's only right. I like you!" Willow flattered her sweetly.
Marlowe patted her hand, her face full of affection. "I like you too, Willow... Do you have a boyfriend?"
"No, Marlowe," Willow replied shyly.
"Really? My Lucien doesn't have one either." Marlowe's eyes lit up.
She had been eager for a great-grandchild for the past two years, often calling Lucien's parents to hurry up and find him a wife.
Otherwise, she wouldn't be happy.
"What? Lucien doesn't have a girlfriend?" Willow blinked, feigning innocence.
Marlowe nodded and sighed. "That's right. He's 28 and still single. It's driving me crazy."
"Don't worry, Lucien is so outstanding, he won't have trouble finding a girlfriend."
Lucien was indeed outstanding, but he wasn't actively looking. How could she not be worried? Marlowe's head hurt just thinking about it. She rubbed her temples and looked at the quiet, well-behaved girl beside her.
Willow's family had been friends with the Moreau family for generations. Marlowe had watched Willow grow up, though she had been abroad for years. Seeing her now, still as pure and untainted as ever, Marlowe thought she might be the perfect candidate for a granddaughter-in-law.
After a moment of consideration, Marlowe asked tentatively, "Willow, do you like Lucien?"
Willow, of course, liked him. She lowered her eyes and softly said, "Yes."
Marlowe was thrilled. "If you like him, I'll arrange for you two to meet."
"Okay." Willow had been waiting for this.
Her father had mentioned the Moreau family wanted to arrange a match, but nothing had happened.
She couldn't wait any longer.
She needed to secure Lucien and crush Emily.
Violet had crossed her, so she'd make sure to hurt her friend in return!
