Chapter 328 Had His Woman Gained Some Skills?

"Brady, are you threatening me?" Leana had never seen Brady this angry before. She always thought of him as her gentle brother, but now he seemed like a different person.

Brady had turned cold and distant.

Leana felt like her heart had been shattered. Her whole world was falling apart, and all she could think about was Brady. But now, he felt unreachable.

Why?

Leana couldn't understand why Brady would choose Violet over her. She had a better family background and a great figure. Violet just had a pretty face!

How could Brady be so shallow?

Leana's heart ached, her eyes stung, and she clenched her fists tightly.

"Brady, you weren't like this before. You used to be so kind to me. Why did you change after she showed up?" Leana's voice cracked as she accused him.

The cops nearby overheard and thought Brady must be a real douchebag.

Brady felt helpless. He had never had romantic feelings for Leana; it was all in her head.

He had told Leana long ago that he only saw her as a sister and would never fall in love with her.

But now wasn't the time to discuss this. Brady, wanting to end the conversation, said coldly, "Leana, go inside and explain everything to the police, and I won't press charges.

"But this is your only chance. Our families are old friends, and I don't want to embarrass Uncle Moore and Aunt Moore. If you mess with Violet again, I won't be so lenient!"

"It's not that I want to mess with her; Violet stole my necklace!" Leana's heart ached from hearing Brady's words, and she lost all reason as she yelled and stared at him with red-rimmed eyes.

"Do I have to use force?" Brady didn't want Violet to be held up any longer. He stepped closer to Leana and grabbed her arm firmly, showing no sign of their close relationship.

Leana's heart shattered, and she burst into tears, "It was Violet who stole the necklace."

Just then, the officer who had taken Violet's statement walked by and heard this. He said, "Leana, come with me to the interrogation room."

Leana was still fixated on Brady's coldness and ignored the officer, her eyes only on Brady.

"Leana," the officer called again.

"What?" Leana finally turned around. "What do you want?"

"We need to talk to you. Come with me." The officer had never dealt with such an unruly model before; it was outrageous.

"Why are you looking for me and not detaining Violet?" Leana snapped, unaware the officer had video evidence.

"Do you want to see the evidence proving Violet's innocence?" The officer looked at her sternly.

Leana was stunned, thinking she had misheard. Some other officers came to take her to the interrogation room.

Brady stood there, pondering the officer's words.

His eyes narrowed. His woman had some skills, huh?

'She knew how to clear her own name?' he thought, surprised.

Sure enough, within two minutes, Violet walked out of the interrogation room, looking relaxed. As she stepped out, she saw the tall man standing there. Violet was a bit surprised.

She walked over and asked, "Brady, why are you here?"

'Didn't Eddy say he was busy?' she wondered.
