Chapter 1023 Darling, You Are So Beautiful
"Austin, did you put something in my juice last night?" Emily pulled away from his grasp, staring at him intently.
"Emily, seriously? You think I'd do that?" Austin looked genuinely surprised, trying to stay calm. "Do you really believe I would?"
"But you were the one who gave me the juice..." Emily didn't want to doubt him, but all the evidence pointed to him.
She couldn't help but be suspicious.
"Emily, if you really think that, call the cops right now." Austin, looking righteous, pulled out his phone and handed it to Emily. "Go ahead, call them."
"I have nothing to hide."
Emily couldn't possibly call the police now. That would ruin Violet's wedding. She pushed his hand away and said, "We'll talk about this tomorrow. Today is Violet's wedding, and I don't want to mess it up."
Austin nodded. "Emily, believe me, I love you."
"Please don't break up with me over this, okay?"
Emily bit her lip, not wanting to discuss it further. "Austin, this is going to create a rift between us."
"I don't care," Austin said, suddenly dropping to his knees in front of Emily. She was startled and quickly said, "What are you doing? Get up."
Austin remained on his knees. "Emily, they say a man should never kneel, but I care more about you than my pride. Without you, I can't live."
"Emily, please don't leave me."
Austin pleaded earnestly, still on his knees.
His humble posture shocked Emily. She quickly said, "Get up. I won't talk about breaking up right now, okay?"
Austin nodded and stood up. "Emily, I really don't care."
"I understand. You should go now. I need to help Violet with the wedding preparations." Emily had a headache and didn't want to talk to him anymore.
"Alright, I'll see you at the wedding tonight." Austin didn't want to push her further and left.
After he left, Violet walked over to Emily and said, "Don't think too much about it. Help me with my makeup?"
Austin's kneeling had shocked her. A man who would go to such extremes to achieve his goals was definitely not someone she wanted in her life.
Of course, she didn't want to speak badly of Austin. She'd leave that to Lucien.
Emily nodded, not wanting to dwell on it and upset herself.
Around 10 AM, Violet's wedding makeup team arrived to do her makeup and hair. Emily helped out, and by 11 AM, the bridal look was complete.
When Violet put on her wedding dress, she looked like an ethereal fairy.
You couldn't tell she had already had three kids.
Once the preparations were done, Brady and his team had also finished setting up the wedding venue.
When Brady walked in and saw Violet dressed like a fairy, he was momentarily stunned. His eyes darkened slightly, and his throat moved as he swallowed.
She was truly beautiful.
He worried about other men seeing her in this state.
"Are you all ready?" Brady asked, looking at Violet sitting on the sofa in her wedding dress.
"Yes," Violet said, lifting her dress as she stood up slowly.
"Let's go to the wedding venue." Brady walked over gently and extended his hand to her.
Violet placed her hand in his, and Brady held it tightly, never wanting to let go. "You look stunning, my love."
He had kept the wedding dress in the closet, never looking at it, just so he could see her in it today and be surprised.
To give himself a wedding day he'd never forget.
"Do you like it?" Violet leaned into him, asking softly.
"Of course, I love it," Brady said, not caring about the people around them. He held her close, whispering in her ear, "I've arranged for our two little ones to be the flower kids at the park ceremony."
"Do you think they'll cause trouble?" Violet couldn't help but laugh, thinking of Henry and Nicole.
"Even if they do, it'll be a beautiful memory, right?" He wanted the wedding to be a family affair, full of happy memories.
Violet thought about it and agreed. "Yes."
"Let's go. The guests are already waiting for us." Brady said again.
Violet nodded obediently. "Okay."
