Chapter 888 He Hasn't Met Violet Yet, Will She Be Friendly

Once everything was set, they all piled into the car and headed to the airport.

When they got there, Emily's text came through.

She couldn't make it; she had to register for college today. She wished them a great trip.

Violet had hoped Emily could join them.

But since she had to register, it made sense.

Violet thought that they could hang out next time, just the two of them.

Violet slipped her phone back into her bag and boarded the plane with Nicole in her arms.

Calliope and Eddy followed closely behind her onto the plane.

Brady stood on the plane's stairs with Henry, waiting for Arthur to show up.

After about five minutes, Arthur finally drove up.

But when he got out of the car, Brady noticed he had brought Diana along.

Brady frowned slightly as he watched from a distance.

What was this about?

When Arthur approached, Brady raised an eyebrow and asked, "You and her?"

"Nothing. I just didn't want her causing trouble at the Stanley family," Arthur replied coolly, not caring that Diana was right beside him.

Brady turned his gaze to Diana, standing quietly behind Arthur, and said, "Ms. Fawn, go ahead and board."

Diana nodded and went onto the plane.

Once she was out of earshot, Brady said mockingly, "Is that necessary? She's unarmed. Are you worried she'll stir up trouble at the Stanley family?"

Arthur rubbed his brow and chuckled lightly, "You never know. My grandfather is particularly fond of her."

"You could have just had someone keep an eye on her. No need to bring her along," Brady said with a laugh.

"I don't trust anyone when it comes to my grandfather," Arthur said flatly.

Brady smirked, "I think you might have a thing for her."

Arthur laughed, "Not a chance."

He paused, then picked up Henry, who was standing next to Brady, and said, "Henry, I'll take you inside."

Henry nodded obediently.

Brady watched them go, his lips curling into a silent smile.

Denial.

The private island was located in a tropical part of Vesperia, with a hot climate and stunning scenery.

When Brady turned 18, the Hall family gifted him this island as a coming-of-age present.

However, he rarely visited due to his busy schedule. Now that he was married to Violet, he planned to bring them here more often.

Ten hours later, their plane landed smoothly on a runway on the island.

As soon as the plane stopped, Bob Simmons, the Hall family's long-time caretaker of the island, led the staff to greet them.

Bob had been looking after the island for many years. The Hall family only visited once or twice a year.

The rest of the time, it was just him and the housekeeping staff.

This time, Brady brought Violet along, and Bob was excited. He hadn't met Violet yet.

He wondered if she would be friendly.

A few minutes later, the plane's door opened, and Brady and Violet stepped out first.

As they descended, Bob and the staff bowed their heads to welcome them.

Soon, everyone was off the plane.

Brady, holding Violet's hand, walked up to Bob and said, "Bob, lead the way."

Bob looked at Brady, then at Violet, and was instantly amazed, "Mrs. Hall is so beautiful. You are a perfect match."

Bob was momentarily stunned, but quickly regained his composure and led them towards the local-style villa ahead.

As they walked towards the villa, a slender figure hiding behind a large banana tree watched them curiously and enviously through the green leaves.
