Chapter 1008 Brady Is Also at Home, She Wants to See What Tricks She Is Up To?

The Hall Mansion, Crestoria.

Violet's wedding was just a few days away.

She was swamped with last-minute preparations, trying to push aside the memory of Aria delivering flowers.

Brady was equally busy, balancing work, wedding plans, and social events.

Whenever he had a spare moment, he would take Henry to the private pool behind their mansion to teach him how to swim.

Violet, worried about Brady's rough teaching methods, couldn't help but keep an eye on them. She set aside her tasks and sat by the pool with Nicole in her arms, watching closely.

It was Henry's first time learning to swim, and he was bubbling with excitement. "Dad, how are you gonna teach me?"

"Dad, will I swim as fast as a fish?"

"Dad, can I dive?"

"Dad, Dad..."

Brady, overwhelmed by Henry's questions, picked him up and said, "Let's get you in the water first, then we can talk about diving."

Henry hadn't even learned to swim yet and was already thinking about diving. This kid had an even bigger imagination than Brady did at his age.

Brady remembered how his own grandfather had taught him to swim by simply throwing him into the water and letting him figure it out on his own. Naturally, Brady wanted to do the same.

But with Violet watching closely from the side, he didn't dare to use such a rough method.

"Henry, let me hold you while we get in the water," Brady said, carrying Henry into the pool.

Once in the pool, Brady supported Henry's waist and began teaching him how to hold his breath.

Henry didn't quite understand. As soon as he got in the water, he started flailing around. Brady had no choice but to let go and let him splash about.

Violet, seeing Brady let go, was alarmed. She quickly put Nicole down and rushed to the poolside. "Brady, what are you doing? How could you let go? What if Henry swallows water?"

Brady, unfazed, smiled and said, "He won't learn to swim without swallowing a bit of water."

Violet was silent for a moment.

"But you can't let him choke! He's still so young!"

"If you coddle him like this, he'll never learn to swim," Brady insisted. He believed boys needed to toughen up.

"He's just a little boy!" Violet, being a mother, naturally felt protective of Henry.

Brady sighed, "Think about when you learned to swim. Didn't you swallow some water too?"

"Boys need to be toughened up. Why don't you take Nicole back to the living room? It's hot out here."

Violet wanted to argue more, but she knew Brady had a point. Reluctantly, she picked up Nicole and headed back inside, leaving the boys to their lesson.

As Violet carried Nicole back to the living room, Nicole clung to her and asked in a sweet voice, "Mommy, can I learn to swim too?"

"When you're a bit older, Nicole. Then you can learn."

Nicole nodded, her big, beautiful eyes sparkling with anticipation. She imagined herself a little older, learning to swim with her dad, and playing on a sandy island with Henry. The thought made her smile.

"Mrs. Hall, you're just in time," a maid called out as Violet was about to take Nicole to the playroom.

Violet stopped and turned to the maid. "What's up?"

"There's a guest at the door asking to see you," the maid reported respectfully.

"Who is it?" Violet raised an eyebrow.

"She said she's here to deliver some accessories for your wedding dress," the maid explained.

Violet's brows furrowed deeply. Could it be Aria? What was she up to now?

Violet suddenly regretted choosing a small boutique for her wedding dress. Maybe then she wouldn't have run into Aria.

After a moment's thought, Violet put Nicole down and asked the nanny to take her to the playroom. She then turned to the maid and said, "Invite her in."

With Brady at home, Violet was curious to see what Aria was planning.
