Chapter 327 Mr. Hall Is Not Someone We Can Afford to Offend

The cop went to find the female model who was filming a VLOG at the scene, leaving Violet alone in the interrogation room as a suspect.

Outside the station, Brady had already pulled up.

As soon as he walked in, everyone’s eyes were on him. Max was taken aback by Brady’s sudden appearance. He thought Mr. Hall wouldn’t bother with something like this.

But if something happened to Violet, it’d be a stain on JK. In that case, Mr. Hall might care and could even fire Violet on the spot. Thinking about that, Max couldn’t sit still.

Last time, Violet had already caused trouble for Mr. Hall with her resignation. If she ticked him off again, she’d have no shot at rejoining the Hall Group.

“Mr. Hall, the police haven’t finished their investigation yet,” Max quickly explained.

Brady shot him a glance, not interested in talking to Max. He walked straight to Leana, who was sitting across from Max, and said coldly, “Come out and talk to me.”

Leana knew Brady was there for Violet and stubbornly said, “I know you’re here for Violet, but she really is at fault this time.”

Brady had no patience for this and said in a steady voice, “I’m not saying it again. Come outside.”

With that, Brady went to wait in the hallway.

Leana sat there with a sour expression, her fingers digging into the bag on her lap, gritting her teeth. “What’s so special about Violet that Brady would do this for her?”

“Leana, why don’t you go out and talk to Mr. Hall?” Mia, more aware of the situation, tugged at her arm, urging her to go out. “Honestly, Mr. Hall is not someone we can afford to offend, dear.”

Mia continued, “Think it over! Don’t offend Mr. Hall. Even though the Patton family is strong, they can’t compare to Brady. If you really tick off someone like him..."

Forget about the Patton family, even Leana’s modeling career might be over.

Mia thought it was enough to warn Violet a little, but not to go too far, as it would backfire.

Leana got what Mia meant; Brady was indeed someone she couldn’t afford to cross.

But Leana felt miserable. She loved Brady, and she had loved him for a long time. In what way did she not measure up to Violet, whom he had just met?

How could she accept that?

Leana dug her fingers into her hand again in frustration, then got up angrily and went out to see Brady.

As soon as Leana left, Max breathed a sigh of relief, thinking Mr. Hall probably wasn’t here for Violet.

Was he here for Leana? Could they be in a relationship?

If that were the case, Max thought it would be easier to handle. After all, JK was a Hall Group company, and if something like this happened among its employees, it would also affect the Hall Group. So Mr. Hall should persuade Ms. Moore not to pursue it, right?

In the hallway, Brady stood there with a stern look, waiting for Leana.

Leana reluctantly walked over, and Brady got straight to the point, “You did this to Violet, didn’t you?”

“Brady, how would I dare?” Leana refuted, though unwilling to submit, had to appear compliant considering the Patton family and her modeling career. “Violet is your girlfriend, would I dare to bully her? I’m not asking for trouble.”

Leana’s words lacked any sincerity.

Brady originally didn’t want to fall out with her, but now he really didn’t want to consider the Patton family anymore and raised his voice. “Leana, we’ve known each other since we were kids. I don’t want to embarrass you over this. Don’t make me angry, understand?”

Brady was truly angry; he didn’t like anyone causing trouble for Violet.
