Chapter 818 Don't Provoke Me Again

"Hey, Mr. Hall, you like sneak attacks, huh?" Darian had taken a nasty fall and looked a bit roughed up, but he slowly got to his feet, dusted off his hands, and tried to keep his cool.

He knew Brady was tall and built like a tank.

But when it came to boxing, Darian figured Brady might not be all that. The punch earlier was just a fake-out.

All he had to do was defend well; he might just hold his own.

"How's this a sneak attack? Once you're in the ring, it's all fair game," Brady said, stretching and looking serious. "Mr. Voss asked me to teach you a lesson, didn't he?"

"So, we start now?"

Before Darian could react, Brady threw another heavy punch, this time landing square on Darian's chest.

Darian almost went down again but managed to steady himself.

He tried to copy Brady's punching style, aiming to strike back.

Just as he threw a punch, before it could land on Brady's chest, Brady countered with a swift backhand, hitting Darian's chest again. This time, Darian couldn't keep his balance and stumbled back several steps before hitting the ground.

As Darian hit the mat, Brady closed in, grabbed his collar forcefully, and refrained from hitting his face, worried that Violet might notice something off during the afternoon signing.

Instead, Brady landed several punches on Darian's chest.

Darian almost coughed up blood, his face pale with pain, before Brady finally stopped.

"Mr. Voss, don't think I don't know your little schemes—sending photos, cozying up to Violet. I could've shut down this collaboration, but you still have some use. So, for now, stay away from my wife and don't mess with me again." Brady removed his boxing gloves and tossed them heavily onto Darian, speaking coldly.

"Oh, and Mr. Voss, don't think that signing the contract means you can exploit the partnership recklessly. I've done my homework on your family."

"Every move you make, think about your family, got it?" Brady finished, not sparing him another glance.

He strode out of the ring.

Darian lay there, the pain in his chest still spreading, but he didn't care. Instead, he looked up at the few white incandescent lights hanging down, casting a cold glow.

A wild, slightly manic smile slowly spread across his thin lips.

Threaten him?

How amusing. His so-called family couldn't be considered family at all. He wouldn't care if they died; he wouldn't feel a second of pain.

Darian had things he wanted to achieve in this life, and no one could stop him.

Violet was what he wanted. If he couldn't have her, then Nicole would do.

In the end, he would take someone with him.

Otherwise, how could Violet justify herself to him? He was so good, so excellent. What right did she have to reject him?

What right did she have?

She had none.

So, Brady, watch closely. I'll make you understand what it means to lose everything.

In this world, the only man worthy of Violet is Darian.

Around 2 PM.

The Hall Group's top-floor conference room.

For the signing between JK and Darian, Violet had specifically asked her dear husband for the luxurious top-floor conference room to host the ceremony, to show respect and importance.

This way, Darian should understand how much JK valued this collaboration, right?

Of course, Violet was unaware of Darian's behind-the-scenes maneuvers and the fight her husband had with him that morning.

She was full of hope that this partnership would lead JK to a better, world-class level.
