Chapter 906 Why Can't She Take Advantage and Hit Mrs. Hall

"Julie, move! I'm taking on her today! She threw water at me? Does she think she can just push me around?" Dora was fearless.

She was already on the verge of getting fired by Violet. What did she have to lose?

Worst case, they'd just kick her out, right?

So if that was the only consequence, why not take the chance to give Violet a good thrashing before leaving?

"Dora, don't do anything rash!" Julie didn't want Dora to turn into such a hothead.

"Julie, step aside. I don't want to hurt you!" Dora cared about Julie, but she despised Violet.

Just as Dora finished speaking, Bob's booming voice came from the kitchen door. "Dora, what do you think you're doing? If you lay a finger on Mrs. Hall, you'll regret it!"

Bob was fiercely loyal to the Hall family and sided with Violet.

Dora turned to look at the door and saw an angry Bob. Her previously defiant expression immediately crumbled, and she shrank to the side, not daring to make a sound.

She was somewhat afraid of Bob.

Bob walked over in a few strides and first checked on Violet. "Mrs. Hall, are you alright? Dora doesn't know her place. I'll fire her and get her out of here immediately."

Violet didn't want to waste any more time on someone so uncouth. She told Bob, "Let's have a meeting later. I have some things to discuss with everyone."

Bob understood and nodded respectfully. "Mrs. Hall, I'll organize it right away."

"Take her away first. I can't stand the sight of her." Violet couldn't be bothered with Dora anymore and instructed Julie to help her prepare breakfast.

Bob then dragged Dora out.

Once outside the kitchen, Dora, feeling wronged, started crying and pleading. "Bob, this is so unfair. I just said a few things, and she fired me. I've been working here for five years."

Bob glared at her, his face turning red with anger. "You have the nerve to cry to me? Do you even realize those things you said were completely out of line? Are you losing it? Stop talking. Pack your things. I'll have someone send you back home."

Dora wasn't willing to leave. She grabbed Bob's hand and begged, "Please help me. I don't want to leave. The pay here is too good. How could I bear to leave?"

"You've offended Mrs. Hall. No one can save you now." Bob pushed her away, annoyed. "You should've kept your mouth shut."

With that, he went to find someone to escort her out.

Seeing that Bob had no intention of showing any leniency, Dora stomped her foot in frustration.

Then, with a glance around, she turned and ran towards the banana grove behind the house.

She was determined not to leave!

What could they do to her?

Feeling self-righteous, Dora quickly ran into the dense banana grove.

After running for a while, she was out of breath and leaned against a banana tree to catch her breath.

In the distance, Bob and the other male staff on the island were calling out for her.

Using her hand as a fan, Dora fanned herself while smugly muttering, "You want me to leave? No way. I'll just stay here. Once Violet is gone, Bob will keep me around!"

After talking to herself for a while, the voices calling for her gradually faded.

Dora felt it was safe and decided to find a place to rest. She turned and continued walking deeper into the banana grove.

The island wasn't huge, but it wasn't small either.

There were some areas Dora had never been to, so she didn't dare go too far.

After walking a few dozen feet, just as she was about to stop, a strong man in a military-green uniform suddenly appeared in front of her.
