Chapter 555 Hellen, If Brady Wants to Marry Me, Would You aAgree?
Violet had just stepped out of the mansion when Hellen handed her a small package of pastries. "You can eat these on the plane. Safe travels, come back soon."
Violet nodded and was about to put the pastries into her travel bag when she suddenly thought of Brady. She looked at Hellen and asked, "Hellen, if Brady wanted to marry me, would you agree?"
Hellen was taken aback, not understanding why Violet would suddenly ask such a question. Brady didn't seem like the kind of man who would marry someone from lower social class. "Violet, did he approach you?"
"No, I'm just asking. Don't you think he's unreliable? I'm saying if he wanted to marry me, would you agree or oppose it?"
Hellen was silent for a moment. "Violet, we're not suitable for them."
She had her concerns. She feared that even if Violet could marry into the Hall family, she would be bullied by them.
Rather than that, it would be better to marry someone of a similar social standing.
A significant class difference could easily lead to an unhappy marriage.
"I understand." Violet looked away, and turned to walk towards the mansion's gate.
She had made up her mind. Even if Hellen didn't agree, she would still marry Brady.
Hellen stood at the gate, watching her leave. She thought about it and felt something was off. Why did Violet ask that question?
Could they be together again?
It's not impossible. After all, with two children, it's unlikely they wouldn't have any contact.
Hellen thought about what would happen if Violet impulsively married into the Hall family and got bullied. How would she protect her?
Elowen was already gone; she couldn't bear to lose Violet too.
Violet waited at the mansion's gate for Calliope to pick her up.
After about five minutes, Calliope drove up to get her.
They drove straight to the airport. Once there, they quickly handled the boarding procedures, and boarded the plane.
Finally seated on the plane, Violet's heart began to settle, but Brady still hadn't replied to her messages.
Especially after she sent that video, he hadn't responded.
Violet wondered if he was in some kind of trouble.
She wanted to call him, but just as she was about to dial, a flight attendant came over. "The plane is about to take off. Please turn off your phone."
Violet could only turn off her phone.
After this, she was still very worried and asked Calliope, "Calliope, have you contacted Brady recently? I sent him a message two hours ago, and he hasn't replied."
"I sent him a greeting, and he didn't reply either," Calliope answered honestly.
So he really hadn't contacted anyone? But considering the time he left for Radiantia, he should have arrived by now. What could have happened? Violet started to worry and said, "Calliope, do you think he might be in danger?"
"Ms. Devereux, you don't need to worry. Brady is very capable and knows a lot of people in Radiantia," Calliope said, gently holding Violet's hand.
Only then did she realize that Violet's palm was sweaty from worry.
"I know he's very capable, but I'm still worried." Violet had never been this worried about someone.
"It will be fine, we'll find him together," Calliope said, holding her hand tightly again.
Violet nodded, but she wouldn't be at ease until she saw Brady.
