Gerry was floored.
What was the deal with seeing Ava?
Gerry couldn't wrap his head around it and just asked, "Lilian, what's your game plan?"
Lilian looked at her dad and said, "Dad, Violet's making me apologize to her. I can't do it. So, I'm turning to Ava. Ava can't stand girls like Violet, who got booted from the Devereux Family. We won't have to lift a finger; Ava will handle Violet herself."
She smirked, imagining Ava dealing with Violet down the line.
She thought, 'Me apologize? Not a chance!'
"Will it work?" Gerry was worried about keeping Pelinka happy.
If Lilian could pull this off, he'd dodge a lot of headaches. No more worrying about Pelinka's hunger strike to make him get back at Violet.
Lilian added, "For sure. Ava wants a socialite, not some regular girl." Lilian was confident, especially since she went to a socialite gathering hosted by one of Ava's friends last time. "Ava made it clear she wanted a socialite for Brady. What does Violet have? She's reckless, broke off her engagement, and got kicked out by the Devereux Family. She's just a regular girl. No background, no way Ava will like her."
Gerry got it. "Lilian, hurry up; Pelinka's almost starving."
"Dad, I'm heading out now. The house is yours," Lilian said, grabbing her suitcase and striding out.
Gerry watched Lilian leave, feeling relieved.
As long as it worked.
Despite her opposition to the Devereux family, Violet was still his daughter. He just hoped she'd vanish quickly, bringing peace to everyone.
At the private hospital, Violet rushed to pick up Brady, who was talking with his assistant about the Hall Group's recent situation.
The assistant carefully reported the general situation to him.
Brady listened, confirmed there were no issues, and asked him to leave.
The assistant complied.
As soon as he left, Violet came in, exhausted, and pushed the door open.
Brady glanced at her and said with a smile, "Did you run over here?"
Violet smiled and shook her head. "No, just ran a bit down the hallway."
She glanced at his attire, looking handsome and noble, and was stunned. She said, "Are you all set?"
"Yeah," Brady nodded and said, "Let's go. I haven't seen Henry and Nicole for days."
Mentioning the kids, Violet immediately smiled and said, "This morning when I left, they were looking for you."
But after saying this, she suddenly realized she seemed to enjoy reporting the kids' issues to Brady.
This thought was troubling. But it was also something she couldn't control.
Violet took a deep breath and stopped talking about that.
Brady was pleased because when Violet talked about it, she no longer seemed resistant or disgusted. She reminded him of his wife, sparking an idea within him.
They had been getting along well recently. He might consider marrying her.
He was busy with his career and didn't have time to date other women. Being with Violet was enough, not to mention she gave him two kids.
This was a bond between them that no one could erase in the future.
