Chapter 893 Julie Wondered If Crestoria Allowed Polygamy

Julie, with her gentle and shy demeanor, had a deep, exotic beauty that captivated everyone.

Her voice was sweet and carried a hint of anticipation. "Brady, it's been ages since you last came here, hasn't it?"

Every year, someone from the Hall family would come to this island for vacation—like Michael and Ava, or other relatives from the Hall family—but Brady never did.

Bob had told her that Brady was managing a huge corporation and was too busy to come on vacation often.

So, she could only wait, wait for him to come so she could thank him in person.

Thank him for the protection and shelter he had provided over the years.

When she was brought to this island at the age of sixteen, she was covered in her brother's blood, mentally shattered, and in a state of shock, living in the constant terror of her brother's murder.

It was Brady who comforted her, provided her with the best psychologists, and gave her a peaceful environment to heal.

It was because of him that she could overcome the fear of her brother's death.

This kindness, Julie would never forget, not in this lifetime or the next.

"Things have been quiet at Crestoria lately, so I brought my wife here for a little fun. You've met her before, right? I'll introduce you later," Brady said to Julie, treating her with the same gentle care he showed Calliope.

When Julie heard him mention Violet, her initially happy mood was instantly overshadowed by a deep sense of loss. But Julie dared not show it in front of Brady.

She liked him, but only dared to secretly admire him.

So she hid her inner pain and pretended to be happy, looking at Brady and saying, "Sure, Brady, I'd love to meet her!"

"Alright." Brady smiled and slowly walked down the steps.

The intense sunlight of Vesperia filtered through the large banana leaves, casting a golden glow on his profile and shoulders.

He looked like the ideal partner stepping out of a dream.

Julie felt her breath quicken involuntarily, her deep blue eyes, like the ocean, gazing at the tall Brady.

Her heart was pounding.

Julie wondered if Crestoria allowed polygamy. In some tribes here, men could marry two or three wives.

If he were willing, she would be happy to be his second wife.

Of course, this was just a wishful thought that Julie dared not voice.

"Brady, I didn't know you were married," Julie said softly, her beautiful mixed-race face turned up towards him as he approached.

"Last year," Brady replied, looking at her.

Julie nodded, her natural deep brown curls swaying gently in the breeze.

Such a beautiful girl would have any normal man swooning.

But not Brady. His heart and mind were completely occupied by Violet.

No matter how beautiful the girl was, she was ordinary in his eyes.

"By the way, Julie, do you know where Bob is? I need to talk to him," Brady asked, glancing at his mechanical wristwatch.

Julie knew, of course. "Brady, I'll take you to him."

"Alright," Brady agreed.

Julie led Brady across the soft grass to a small kitchen behind the villa, dedicated to preparing gourmet meals.

The kitchen was as large as a room.

Inside, several servants and Bob were busy preparing dinner.

When Brady and Julie entered, Bob noticed them and quickly put down the vegetables he was holding, hurrying over to Brady. "Mr. Hall, what brings you here? The smell of cooking oil is strong here; it might dirty your clothes."

Brady indeed disliked the smell of cooking oil, so he said, "Bob, come outside with me. I have something to discuss."

Bob nodded quickly and followed Brady outside to talk.

Julie stayed in the kitchen, staring out at the tall, handsome Brady standing in the blazing sun, lost in thought.
