Chapter 402 How Dare You Defy Me
Brady got rushed to the Hall Group's private hospital, and Violet tagged along. When Leana heard about Brady's injury, she sped over too.
So, there they were, both women outside the emergency room.
One was freaking out, the other was fuming.
Leana knew Brady would be in danger as long as he was with Violet. She thought Violet was bad luck, but Brady still wanted her as his girlfriend?
Leana shot Violet a death glare, like she wanted to rip her apart. She lost it, stormed up to Violet, grabbed her dress, and started yelling, "Violet, you bitch! Look what you did! Brady's hurt 'cause of you! You're such a piece of crap."
Leana was seething. Violet couldn't even deal with her; all she could think about was Brady's bloody, messed-up foot. It hurt her just thinking about it.
"Say something, you jerk! Do you even know how important Brady is to the Hall Group? If something happens to him, can you take responsibility for that?" Leana kept yanking at her dress, shaking her like a rag doll.
Luckily, a bodyguard stepped in, "Ms. Moore, please let go of Ms. DeVereux."
Violet was Brady's girl now, so they couldn't let anything happen to her.
But Leana wasn't backing down. She knew Brady's bodyguards wouldn't dare touch her because the Moore family was no joke. So she kept cursing at Violet, "Why aren't you talking? Scared or 'cause you know I'm right? You're trash! You better leave Brady, or the Hall family will make you pay."
Violet finally had enough and started pushing her away. "Leana, get off me."
"No way. You must leave Brady right now." Leana didn't care about her image anymore.
She was pissed because Brady had never been this hurt before.
He'd only been with Violet for a bit, and now he was in the emergency room.
She couldn't let Violet hurt him anymore.
"Whether I leave him or not isn't up to you!" Violet suddenly found some guts to stand up to her.
At that moment, she realized her feelings for Brady were real.
She wanted to stay by his side, to defend her spot as his girlfriend.
But she knew, even if she had feelings for him, there were things she couldn't act on.
There were too many obstacles between her and Brady, whether it was family stuff or other issues.
But at this very moment, she actively and bravely defended her position for the first time.
Leana didn't care; she just wanted Violet gone. Even if Brady ended up with Olivia, as long as it wasn't Violet, she was cool with it. She just couldn't stand seeing Violet with Brady, so she mocked her. "What did you say? Who do you think you are? How dare you talk to me like that? How dare you defy me?"
