Eddy worked fast, and in just ten minutes, he had booked a high-speed train ticket for Violet online.
Not wanting to waste any time, Violet grabbed her bodyguard and headed to Thornwick to find Brady.
Meanwhile, over at the Hall family estate, young Helena got up, freshened up, and went to see Matilda.
But by the time she was ready, quite a bit of time had passed, and Matilda was already feeling a bit annoyed.
She had felt sorry for Helena, but seeing her disregard the servant-master distinction, Matilda's face turned stern as she said, "Helena, you're acting more high and mighty than I am, and I've been waiting for you for a whole hour."
This young girl didn't know her place.
"Anyone who didn't know better would think you were the lady of the house!"
Matilda scolded angrily.
Helena knew she couldn't afford to offend Matilda, so she quickly lowered her head in a submissive manner, gently tugged at Matilda's sleeve, and began to sweet-talk her, "I'm sorry. I've never been a servant before, and I usually get up late in the morning. You're so kind and generous, please don't be mad at me."

The Hall family was already housing a girl rumored to be involved with Brady, and now she had to cater to her? Ridiculous.
"Once this matter is resolved, I'll help you find a job so you can support yourself."
Matilda felt she was being more than fair.
Helena, however, was not satisfied.
She wanted to stay and marry the young CEO, but since Matilda had just reprimanded her, she couldn't push her luck.
For now, she needed to keep Matilda on her side.
So she kept her head down, looking remorseful, and said, "Okay, thank you. I will always remember your kindness."
Matilda sighed and said, "It's not about kindness. Helping clear up the rumors about Brady is the biggest favor you can do for me." She paused, checking the time, and said, "Let's go. We can't keep my friends waiting."
Helena nodded and helped Matilda to the car outside.
Today, Matilda had arranged a gathering for the ladies at a well-known vintage-style restaurant in Elysium.
When Matilda arrived with Helena, most of the prominent wives from wealthy families were already there, chatting.
None of them knew why Matilda had organized this gathering.
They could only speculate, "Why do you think Matilda from the Hall family invited us all to lunch today?"
These ladies rarely gathered together, not because they didn't want to, but because they were all so busy.

But when Matilda organized a lunch, none of them would refuse.

Matilda smiled at the ladies and said, "Please, have a seat."
The ladies obediently pulled out their chairs and sat down.
