Chapter 434 Do you plan to marry her?
Matilda hurriedly went to the Hall Group with the butler after leaving the supermarket. For such an important matter, she had to get clear answers.
Meanwhile, in the top-floor office of the Hall Group, Brady was busy instructing his subordinates on work matters.
Seeing Matilda rush over so anxiously, he thought something had happened to her. He immediately helped Matilda to a nearby sofa, and said, "Grandma, what brings you here today? Is something wrong?"
"Yes, of course!" Matilda was very happy at the thought of those two adorable children.
"What is it?" Brady saw her cheerful expression and figured it wasn't bad news.
So he asked his assistant to bring Matilda a cup of coffee and continued to inquire.
The assistant brought the coffee, and Matilda took the cup, gently blowing on the hot steam. The more she thought about it, the happier she became. She took a sip of coffee and said, "Brady, you're not getting any younger. It's time for you to get married."
Brady was confused.
Did Matilda imply he was old?
But he was only 28? Was that old?
He replied, "Grandma, I'm not even 30 yet. Why?"
Matilda tapped his forehead and said with a smile, "Others get married at 25. You are 28, shouldn't you be preparing for it too?"
"It's still a bit far off." Brady felt that he and Violet still had some issues to resolve.
So it was impossible to talk about marriage right away.
"Not young. Time to get married" Matilda snorted and suddenly changed the subject, getting straight to the point. "How are things going with you and Violet?"
"So far, so good." Brady squinted slightly, suddenly sensing something off in Matilda's question.
She came to the company today and brought up marriage. Did she have some plan?
"If things are going well, are you gonnamarry her?" Matilda asked with a smile.
Brady was stunned and looked at her, confused. He remembered that although Matilda had agreed to his relationship with Violet, she had never mentioned marriage.
"Do you want me to marry Violet?" he asked thoughtfully.
Matilda nodded. "Yes, I think she has good character. I'm not insisting on you marrying into another family for alliances. Why not marry her?"
"Are you sure?" Brady smiled slightly and asked.
He actually had plans to marry Violet, but not at the moment, because they still had many issues to resolve.
If these weren't resolved, it wouldn't be easy to get married.
"Of course. Do you think I'd come all the way here just to joke with you?" Matilda was speechless.
Did he think she had so much free time to come and joke with him?
"There are still some things between us that need to be dealt with, otherwise it won't work" Brady leaned back on the sofa and said.
Matilda raised an eyebrow, seemingly understanding. "Are you worried that the Hall Family won't agree?"
"That's part of it. There're still some issues between her and me." Brady knew that Violet wasn't genuinely staying by his side.
If he forced her to marry him, they wouldn't be happy in the future.
So if he were to marry her, he had to make her fall in love with him first.
As for the Hall Family, they were indeed a problem. Although Matilda was an elder, if others, including his parents, opposed it, the matter wouldn't end well.
So to get married, all issues needed to be resolved first.
Matilda asked, "Do you plan to marry her?"
Brady nodded.
He did indeed want to marry her.
