"If this is true, then Lilian can forget about marrying into the Hall Family," Pelinka said in a deep voice.
"Mom, that's not what I meant," Eileen said, putting away her iPad. "Haven't you ever suspected that the child might be Violet's?"
'Violet's?' Pelinka had never suspected that.
After all, it seemed impossible.
But then, Pelinka suddenly slapped her thigh. "How could I be so stupid? They had sex over a year ago. Maybe she got pregnant then?"
Eileen nodded. "Yes, Mom, If it really is her child, what are we going to do?"
At that point, it would be easy for the Devereux Family to kill them. Eileen didn't want to be hitted by Violet, she was scared.
Pelinka was much more composed and didn't care that. Given the Hall Family's status and power, it wouldn't be easy for Violet to marry Brady.
That was impossible.
Pelinka said slyly, "Don't be scared. Didn't Lilian go to see Ava? Ava has always wanted Brady to marry a girl with status. What are you afraid of?"
However, Eileen still feared it would happen.
After all, Matilda seemed to like Violet a lot. Last time she asked her for a favor, she ended up helping Violet.
Eileen added,"Mom, I'm afraid it's not that simple. We should be cautious."
Pelinka thought for a moment. "Got it. You can go now. We'll wait until Lilian gets back."
Then Eileen left.
The next day, Ava had already boarded a plane back home with Olivia.
Back in the country, Matilda had been sleepless all night, pondering the child's matter.
So, early the next morning, she got up and wanted to see Violet.
However, as the butler prepared the car and Matilda sat inside, she suddenly thought that both of them, being directly involved, should already know about it. But they hadn't reacted?
She pondered,'Especially Violet, shouldn't she be angry? Why no reaction?'
Feeling Something was off, she decided not to look for Violet but to go to The Ashbourne Manor instead.
This mansion was meant to be Brady's marital home. He usually stayed in other high-end apartments and rarely stayed in the mansion, but his bodyguard had reported that Brady had been staying there recently.
So, there must be something going on.
Matilda thought for a moment and quickly asked the butler to drive her to Ashbourne Manor. The car sped down the road.
Soon, they arrived at the entrance of The Ashbourne Manor.
Matilda got out of the car, and the butler was about to announce their arrival when she hurriedly stopped him, saying, "Be quiet! I'll see if there's anything wrong in his mansion."
The butler nodded immediately, secretly admiring her sharpness.
Then Matilda and the butler walked into the mansion together.
Soon, they arrived in front of Brady's mansion.
The mansion's door was open.
Someone was indeed living here.
Since it was daytime, Brady should be at the company, and the house shouldn't be left open.
Matilda stood for a moment and then walked straight in.
As soon as she entered, she heard two adorable voices.
Matilda was stunned.
