Chapter 743 Violet, How About We Give Up Investigating Darian

The meeting was set for around 7 PM, and there was some time before evening.

Violet wasn't in a rush to join her.

For the past few months, JK had been trying to get in touch with the genius designer Darian, but his agent never answered the phone or responded to any of their messages.

This was causing a lot of headaches for Violet and Max.

Max saw that it had been over three months without any response from Darian and was considering giving up.

So, when he arrived at JK early in the morning, he decided to talk to Violet about Darian.

"Violet, I've been thinking, maybe we should give up on inviting Darian?" Max had thought long and hard before deciding to give up on such a talent.

After all, they had been sincerely trying to contact him for over three months.

But Darian either didn't show up or claimed to be too busy to respond.

In short, he wasn't showing any sincerity. Why should they keep wasting their efforts?

Violet had just entered the office and put down her bag. "Max, we've been persistent for over three months. Wouldn't it be a shame to give up now?"

Max sighed and furrowed his brow. "But if he hasn't responded in three months, wouldn't continuing to try be a waste of time?" Although he wanted to recruit Darian.

Such a genius designer was rare.

He could help JK step onto the world stage.

"How about we try one last time?" Violet thought that after waiting for three months, a few more days wouldn't make much difference.

She had a hunch that Emily might be right.

Maybe Darian was holding a grudge and remembered being rejected?

Was that why he didn't want to deal with them?

But then she thought it was unlikely because if he was holding a grudge, why couldn't other competitors reach him either?

They probably didn't reject him in high school like she did.

So maybe he was just aloof and didn't think much of Crestoria's design companies?

Max considered it and said, "Alright, let's try one last time." After a pause, he added, "He hasn't responded to us, but it seems he's coming back to the country for a show. We should go to the show and meet him there."

"Which show?"

"You don't need to go; you're pregnant!" Max wouldn't dare let Mrs. Hall squeeze into a show. If anything happened, Mr. Hall would have his head.

"It's fine, I'll just take a look." Violet was curious to see Darian's designs.

After all, the title of genius designer meant he could lead fashion trends.

As designers, they naturally needed to go to shows for inspiration.

"If you want to go, I'll get you a VIP spot. It's safer there." Max knew she would go, and there was no stopping her.

He could only ensure her maximum safety.

"Alright." Violet nodded and sat down at her desk. Max went off to handle his tasks.

Violet flipped through the design drafts on her desk and thought about sending one last message to Darian's agent to see if they could arrange a meeting.

[Hello Alaric, this is JK Company. Could you let us know when Mr. Johnson might be available? We would like to invite him to lunch. Would that be possible?]

She sent the message on behalf of the company.

Violet put her phone aside, guessing that he probably wouldn't respond.

But to her surprise, a minute later, Darian's agent Alaric Montague replied after their three months of persistence: [Sure, Mr. Voss is willing to meet.]
