Chapter 795 Brady Won't Fancy You

After the family photo session, it was already around 2 PM.

Arthur wanted them to stay for dinner, but Brady declined.

It had been a while since he took the kids and Violet to visit Matilda.

Since they were heading to the Hall Mansion, Arthur didn't insist.

Over at the Hall Mansion, Matilda was thrilled to hear that Brady was bringing the kids and Violet for dinner.

She hadn't seen the kids in ages.

Immediately, she instructed the housemaids to prepare a lavish dinner.

After giving the instructions, Matilda remembered something and turned to Helena, who had just started working as a maid. "Helena, don't clean up just yet. Come with me to the entrance to welcome my adorable great-grandchildren and Violet."

Could it be that Brady was coming back?

Helena quickly put down the cloth she was holding and hurried over to Matilda, her heart a mix of excitement and nervousness.

Her eyes sparkled as she asked, "Is Mr. Hall coming back too?"

Matilda smiled and patted her shoulder. "Yes, you helped him once, and he hasn't come to see you since. This time, you two can finally meet." Helena had been trying to win Matilda's favor lately, working diligently without any complaints.

She had been particularly obedient and proactive, taking on all sorts of tasks without hesitation. Matilda had grown to trust her.

"I'm afraid Mr. Hall might not remember me," Helena said softly, trying to suppress the flutter in her heart.

She still remembered the first time she saw him in the villa's secret room.

It had been love at first sight.

But who would have thought that such a young man already had a wife?

The thought of him being married made Helena feel resentful.

She wanted to see what Violet looked like.

She believed that in these wealthy marriages, the woman was probably not very attractive, and she might still have a chance.

Helena's heart was filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness as Matilda took her hand and led her outside. "Of course, he will remember you. You helped him."

"Okay," Helena nodded obediently.

Soon, the two of them were waiting quietly at the bottom of the villa's steps for Brady and his family to arrive.

After a few minutes, a black Bentley slowly drove through the white iron gates of the villa, followed closely by Ava's red Ferrari.

The two cars arrived at the villa simultaneously and parked.

Brady got out of the car with Violet and the two little ones, while Ava stepped out of her car.

Matilda's face lit up with a broad smile, especially when she saw the two adorable children. "Did you all plan to arrive together, or was it just a coincidence?"

"Just a coincidence," Ava said with a smile, tossing her bag to a nearby maid.

"Well, a happy coincidence! It's been a while since we've had such a lively evening," Matilda said, her heart brimming with joy.

When Henry and Nicole ran over, she immediately crouched down to hug them. "Come here, my little darlings, let me give you a hug."

Matilda's heart melted, and she held onto the two little ones tightly.

Standing behind Matilda, Helena was stunned when she saw Violet leaning against Brady. She bit her lip, feeling conflicted.

How could Violet be so beautiful?

She looked like a movie star.

Compared to her, Helena felt like a country bumpkin.

Her previous blind confidence was shattered upon seeing Violet.

But she still held onto a sliver of hope.

No matter how beautiful a wife was, a man could get tired of her. How could she compare to the allure of a new woman?

With this thought, Helena's confidence was rekindled.

She deliberately fluttered her big eyes, looking at Brady with a hopeful and affectionate gaze, hoping he would notice her.

But his eyes were fixed on Violet the entire time, not even glancing in her direction.

Helena felt a pang of disappointment.

Just as she was about to make a move, not wanting to sit idly by, Ava stepped in front of her, blocking her view.

With a cold, fake smile, she said, "Helena, don't even think about it. If you do, I can send you back to your parents."

"And don't think I don't know what you're up to. Also, don't flatter yourself. We know you helped Brady, but he will never be interested in you. Got it?"

"Behave yourself, or I'll make sure you leave."

Helena's face turned pale as Ava's words hit her hard. She quickly snapped back to reality, nodded in fear, and hurried inside to help.

Compared to her fantasies about Brady, she absolutely couldn't go back to her parents. If she did, they would either beat her or sell her off again.
