A few days later, Juniper and Ethan had to take care of some business matters, so they flew to Eldoria.
If they didn't get back soon, Lawson Corporation might run into some trouble.
James and Helen stayed behind to watch over Evelyn's grave.
Before Ethan's flight, Violet made a special trip to the airport to see them off.
Maybe because they'd all been through so much together, Violet was less distant and more open to acknowledging Ethan this time.
She even made some homemade cookies for him.
And she brought Henry and Nicole to the airport to say goodbye to Ethan and Juniper.
Seeing the two adorable children, Ethan immediately understood Violet's intentions.
He hugged the two cute kids and teased them, "Henry, Nicole, how about bringing your mom and dad to Eldoria to visit? Iwill host you."
Henry and Nicole didn't quite understand and nodded sweetly and they both said in unison, "Okay!"
"Good kids," Ethan said with a smile, kissing their foreheads gently and continuing to play with them.
Juniper watched Ethan doting on Henry and Nicole, feeling touched.
She glanced at Violet standing across from her, took a deep breath, and walked over.
Standing in front of Violet, Juniper mustered the courage to sincerely thank her, "Violet, thank you and Brady for saving me last time."
"I was reckless and caused you harm. I'm truly sorry."
Juniper had always been proud, a golden child since birth. But after everything that had happened, she knew she had to apologize to Violet.
"It's all in the past. I don't want to dwell on it," Violet replied calmly.
Juniper nodded, her eyes filled with guilt, not just for herself, but for what Helen had done to Evelyn.
"But I want to thank you."
"Instead of thanking me, let's just live our lives well from now on," Violet said, not wanting to hold onto the incident where Juniper accidentally pushed her.
The more she dwelt on it, the meaner she would become.
"Alright," Juniper nodded again, clutching her ticket and boarding pass. "Violet, there's something I want to ask you. Is that okay?"
"What is it? Go ahead."
"My parents are staying here to watch over Evelyn's grave. Ethan and I are going back to Eldoria. If anything happens to them, we won't be able to fly over immediately. So, I have a favor to ask. Could you look after my parents while you're here? I'll make sure Ethan collaborates more with the Hall Group as compensation." Juniper knew offering compensation might hurt their relationship, but she couldn't force Violet to take care of her parents.
She had to say it this way.
Of course, if Violet didn't want to, she wouldn't insist.
"You don't need to compensate me. They're staying here to watch over my mom's grave, so I'll look after them," Violet said with a warm smile.
Juniper felt grateful and touched. "Thank you."
"No need," Violet replied. "We're family now."
Just then, the airport loudspeaker announced, "Attention passengers, the flight from BJ to Eldoria is about to depart. Please proceed to boarding."
It was time for them to board.
Ethan put down the kids and walked over to Violet, saying, "Violet, come to Eldoria when you can. It's your home too."
