Chapter 875 I Will Take Violet's Daughter
The next day, Jade still hadn't woken up, but her vital signs were stable.
In the morning, Violet went to the office to discuss terminating the contract with Darian with Max.
After the meeting, she headed to the hospital to take care of Jade.
In the afternoon, Darian also showed up at the hospital to see if Jade was dead, but Brady's bodyguards blocked him outside, so he couldn't see anything.
He didn't leave, though. He just stood in the hallway, waiting.
The bodyguards, worried that Violet might be threatened when she came out, called Brady to alert him.
When Brady found out, he dropped everything and rushed over.
As long as Darian wasn't brought to justice, they couldn't have peace.
However, it would take some time for the police from abroad to arrive. Brady estimated they wouldn't get here until tomorrow.
When Brady hurried to the hospital, Violet was in the room with Jade, completely unaware of what was happening outside.
It wasn't until she heard Brady's voice outside that she quickly got up to check.
Opening the door, she saw Brady landing a punch on Darian's face.
It was a hard punch.
Darian staggered back a couple of steps, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, his eyes filled with anger.
Seeing this, Violet couldn't help but walk over, gritting her teeth as she spoke to Darian, "How do you even have the nerve to come here?"
Hearing Violet's words, Darian shot her a cold look, his voice restrained but calm, "She's my teacher."
"You know she's your teacher, and you know she almost died?" Violet's emotions flared up as she thought about Jade lying unconscious.
"It has nothing to do with me," Darian said coldly. "But you, Violet, you've changed for the worse. That's not good."
"Darian!"
How could he even think about this now? He was truly heartless.
"If you won't let me see my teacher, then I won't bother you!" Darian didn't want to force his way in, knowing Brady had more people on his side.
He wasn't a match for them, so he turned and left after saying that.
Brady didn't pay much attention to his departure, only saying, "He won't be free for long. The investigators from abroad will be here tomorrow."
"Someone like him should be locked up to reflect on his actions. Otherwise, it would be an injustice to Jade."
Violet nodded, not thinking much more about it, and went back into the room with Brady to look after Jade.
Outside the hospital.
Darian walked out of the hospital lobby, his lip still aching. He gently pressed the split lip with his hand, his eyes filled with growing anger.
He cast a cold glance at the hospital's skyline, then strode down the steps.
As he approached his car, Alaric came around from the other side, holding two plane tickets. "Darian, we're flying back to Elysium Springs tonight."
Darian glanced at the tickets, scoffing, "Why would we go back?"
"I got word that the police from abroad will be here tomorrow to investigate the legality of your design company and your past activities," Alaric said nervously. "Darian, we need to leave. Once we're in Elysium Springs, we'll be safe."
The police from Elysium Springs couldn't touch them there.
Even if extradition was requested, it would take a long time, and without solid evidence, they couldn't do anything.
Crestoria was different. If they were coming, it meant they had cooperation with the local authorities.
If Darian didn't leave now, he would be taken away for sure.
"Please, I'm begging you. We need to lay low for a while. With your reputation abroad, you'll do well."
Darian's face remained tense and silent for a moment before he spoke, "Is Brady behind this investigation?"
"I'm not sure, but we need to go," Alaric was practically pleading.
Darian cast a cold look at the hospital building, then said, "First, let's go to the Hall Mansion. If I'm leaving, I'm taking Violet's daughter with me."
Alaric was stunned, staring at him in shock.
What was he planning now?
