Chapter 769 Are You Here Today to Check on Me
"How would I know? I'm pregnant right now!" Violet put on a pitiful look and said to Willa, "I can't satisfy your desires; you must have some thoughts."
"What are you thinking?" Brady reached out and playfully pinched her nose, smiling warmly. "Marriage isn't just about sex, it's about love and building a family."
"You think I can't control myself?"
"Men are creatures who think with their lower halves." Violet continued to play the victim, her eyes bright and sparkling.
Brady was captivated, especially since she had dressed up in such a beautiful dress today.
It made her look so alluring, stirring his heart.
"My lower half is only for you, okay?" Brady coaxed with a smile.
He paused, glancing at the rose she had placed on his laptop, and asked, "What made you think of bringing me roses?"
"I just thought of it and brought them. Usually, you're the one who remembers to buy me gifts, so I wanted to surprise you." Violet said, picking a rose from the bouquet and holding it out to Brady. "Do you like it?"
"I love it." Brady smelled the rose she handed him. It was fresh, with dewy red petals.
The scent was just right, not too strong.
He wasn't usually a fan of flowers, but for some reason, the ones Violet gave him smelled wonderful, and he liked them.
"Then kiss me?" Violet, seeing his delight, felt happy and pointed to her pink lips, asking for a kiss for the first time.
Brady was taken aback.
Her boldness and enthusiasm today had him a bit stunned.
Violet was usually very shy.
"Are you going to kiss me or not? If not, forget it." Violet, seeing him just staring at her without moving, started to get off his lap.
Brady quickly wrapped his arms around her soft waist, gently cradling the back of her head with one hand, and gave her a tender, loving kiss.
After the kiss, Brady asked, "Did you come here to check up on me?"
"No, I just happened to have a design collaboration nearby, so I came over." Violet joked.
She wasn't about to admit she came to catch him in the act.
But she trusted Brady wouldn't do anything wrong. Charlotte, on the other hand, was now convinced that, was not to be trusted.
"I thought you didn't trust me?" Brady smiled thoughtfully. "But you're the most beautiful woman in the world, no one can replace you in my heart."
Violet's heart fluttered at his words, and she smiled sweetly. "Good to know."
"Where are you staying?" Brady kissed her soft, white shoulder.
The kiss made Violet's body tremble uncontrollably.
Brady had this charm that she couldn't resist, her fingers gripping his robe tightly.
She left a deep crease in his robe.
"Next door to you," Violet replied, trying to control her trembling.
Brady instantly understood.
Violet wasn't here for a collaboration; she was keeping an eye on him, afraid he might cheat.
A wave of happiness surged in Brady's heart.
He loved that Violet cared so much about him.
"You picked a room so close to mine? Was that on purpose?"
"Good to know." Violet winked at him.
"Alright, I get it. I belong to you and only you for life." Brady smiled, then pulled her in for a deep kiss.
The room, which had been a bit chilly, suddenly felt like it was on fire, heating up rapidly.
