Chapter 793 I Will Give You Candy Every Day
Darian wasn't ready to act on his plan to take Nicole just yet. He had some unfinished business with Violet that needed to be settled first.
He had been lying low abroad for years, waiting for the right moment to come back and confront her.
Darian snapped out of his thoughts, a determined glint in his eyes. He gently touched Nicole's adorable little face and said softly, "Hey, Nicole, if you want candy, I'll give you some every day, okay?"
Nicole loved candy, and since this man was someone Violet's friend, she let her guard down.
She nodded obediently and said in her sweet, soft voice, "Okay!"
"Nicole, you're such a good girl. I like you," Darian said with a gentle smile, the intensity in his eyes growing sharper.
"Nicole, I have to go now, but I'll come to see you again, okay?" Darian couldn't stay long; Brady and Arthur were nearby.
If they found out he was here, they would be suspicious.
So Darian glanced at the woman sitting in the garden gazebo, then hugged Nicole again and kissed her rosy cheek before getting up and walking towards the exit.
As soon as Darian left, Nicole continued to focus on eating her candy while waiting for Henry to find her.
After a while, Henry finally spotted her and decided to playfully scare her by pretending to be a big, bad wolf.
But when he reached out to startle her, he noticed she was eating candy.
Henry was immediately surprised. "Nicole, where'd you get candy?"
Nicole, thinking Henry wanted some candy, quickly took the strawberry lollipop out of her mouth and offered it to him, saying sweetly, "Want some?"
Henry looked at the candy Nicole was offering, puzzled.
When did Nicole get candy?
Did she bring it from home?
But he remembered there wasn't any candy like this at home. Where did Nicole get it from?
Henry couldn't figure it out.
But he liked candy too, so even though he was confused, he took a bite of the candy Nicole offered.
It was very sweet.
After taking a couple of bites, Henry grabbed Nicole's hand and said, "Come on, Nicole, let's go."
Nicole nodded obediently, holding Henry's hand as they walked towards the garden gazebo.
As they got closer, Nicole started to worry that Violet would scold her for eating candy.
Violet always said they couldn't eat candy because it would cause cavities and make their teeth black and fall out like an old lady's.
Nicole was scared, but also loved candy.
So she quickly chewed up the rest of the candy and swallowed it before going to the gazebo with Henry.
By the time they reached the gazebo, Nicole had finished all the candy, and Violet didn't notice she had been sneaking sweets.
Violet gently took the kids' hands and led them towards Brady.
The photography team had arrived to take their family photos.
Violet held her two little ones' hands as they walked over to Brady.
When Brady saw Violet and the kids, his eyes softened, and he stopped talking to Arthur about the Stanley family.
He turned and walked towards them with long strides.
When they all came together, Brady knelt and picked up Nicole, saying lovingly, "Nicole, are you excited to take pictures with Mommy, Daddy, and Henry?"
Nicole nodded and wrapped her arms around Brady's neck, giving him a sweet kiss. "Daddy."
"Nicole, you're such a good girl," Brady said, returning Nicole's kiss with one of his own.
Then he gently took Violet's hand, and they walked over to the photography team together.
Brady planned to take a family photo like this every year to capture the beautiful moments with their children.
