Chapter 783 I Often Looked For Violet in High School

At 10:30 AM, the flight from Thornwick to New Future City took off right on schedule.

Meanwhile, at the Hall Group mansion in New Future City.

Violet and Brady were both away on business trips, leaving Hellen to take care of the two little ones by herself.

But unlike before, when she had no help, Brady had arranged for two maids to assist her.

Taking care of the kids was much easier now.

And today, Brady and Violet were coming back from their trips.

Hellen thought about making some pigeon soup to help Violet recuperate.

She asked the maids to watch the kids while she went to the supermarket to buy fresh pigeons.

As soon as she grabbed her purse and was about to leave, the two kids saw her heading out and immediately clung to her legs, not letting her go.

"Auntie, you can't leave!" Henry could now say some basic phrases, speaking fluently and assertively.

Nicole, not as advanced in her speech as Henry, could only manage, "Auntie," while wrapping her chubby little arms around Hellen, refusing to let her go.

They didn't like being alone with the maids.

They wanted to be with Hellen.

"Henry, Nicole, be good. I'm just going to the supermarket to buy some pigeons. Your mom and dad will be back soon, and I want to make them some soup." Hellen, unable to move with the kids clinging to her legs, patiently tried to coax them.

"Be good and play with the maids, okay? I'll be back soon."

"No," Henry shook his head vigorously, not letting her leave.

Hellen was at a loss.

She asked the maids to take the kids, but as soon as they tried, the children started crying loudly, tears streaming down their faces.

Hellen's heart ached.

One of the maids suggested, "Mrs. Patton, the kids don't want you to leave. Why not take them with you?"

Hellen hesitated.

She was nervous about taking the kids out alone because the last time she did, all sorts of things happened.

"Mrs. Patton, we can help you watch them," the maid continued.

They were also worried that if Hellen left, they wouldn't be able to handle the kids, and Violet and Brady would be upset when they returned.

Hellen, seeing the kids crying, softened.

She sighed and said, "Alright, let's all go together." She couldn't say no to these little ones.

Henry and Nicole, hearing that Hellen agreed to take them out, immediately stopped crying and started laughing, hugging the maids' necks.

Hellen, seeing this, couldn't help but laugh and feel exasperated.

These kids were so clever.

The supermarket wasn't far from the mansion. With three adults and two kids, it should be safe.

At the supermarket, Hellen felt at ease and went to pick out the pigeon meat.

The two maids took the kids to ride the coin-operated cars at the entrance.

After a while, the kids got bored and started asking for Hellen.

The maids had no choice but to take them to find Hellen.

They soon found her in the fresh meat section.

The kids immediately let go of the maids' hands and ran to Hellen.

Once by her side, they held onto her clothes and helped her pick.

As they were selecting the meat, Darian, who never shopped at supermarkets, appeared out of nowhere.

He walked up to Hellen and greeted her, "Hi, Hellen."

Hellen, busy picking meat, turned around at the sound of his voice.

Seeing the handsome Darian, she was momentarily confused and scrutinized him, "And you are?"

"Darian. I used to come by often to see Violet in high school. Do you remember?" Darian's smile was warm and friendly, making him seem non-threatening.

"Oh, it's you. You're back?" Hellen finally remembered who he was.

Back when her sister moved in with her, Violet also stayed with them.

During that time, a young man named Darian often came by to walk to school with Violet.

He was very good to Violet and liked her, but then he went abroad.
