Chapter 368 He Needed to Give This Rebellious Woman Some Favor
Hellen was totally floored by what he said. She just stood there, stone-faced, watching him mess around with the kids.
Soon enough, Violet and Emily came down with their bags.
As they showed up, Brady had his crew handle the luggage. He scooped up Henry and Nicole and told Violet, "Come home with me."
Even though he said it all casual-like, Emily thought it sounded like a husband calling his wife back.
But Emily knew Brady wasn't about to marry Violet, so she shrugged it off.
"Brady, the kids aren't used to you yet. Don't push them to call you Dad," Violet said, trying to keep her cool.
Brady got the hint and glanced at Violet, saying, "I know."
He then carried Henry and Nicole over to No. 2 Mansion.
Violet bit her lip and followed along.
The move went off without a hitch. The kids warmed up to him fast, which made Violet a bit jealous.
'How can the kids I raised be so close to Brady?' she wondered.
Feeling a bit left out, Violet didn't stick around long since she had to get back to work.
Seeing her about to leave, Brady handed the kids off to the maid and followed Violet outside.
At the door, he saw Violet walking away without a word. His eyes narrowed, and he quickly grabbed her hand.
In a soft voice, he asked, "You still mad?"
Brady wasn't the type to comfort women. He'd never dated and had zero experience. He knew Violet was super pissed last night, but he was also mad because she had kept the kids from him.
Trying to be the bigger person, he swallowed his pride and tried to comfort her first.
"I'm not mad," Violet said, trying to pull her hand away, but his grip was strong.
She had no choice but to give up.
"Are you sure?" Brady pulled her into his arms. "Come on, don't be mad. Let's live together and raise our kids, okay?"
He had never been so patient with a woman before.
It was almost humble.
"All my money and everything at home is yours. Spend it however you want to raise the kids," Brady continued.
Violet looked at him blankly. She didn't need his money. She just wanted him to let her and the kids go when he got tired of them. That's all!
But would Brady give her that chance?
He was now fighting her for the kids.
Violet wasn't naive enough to be swayed by his words and stay by his side.
Pressing her lips together, she said through gritted teeth, "If you get married in the future, you must give me the kids, okay? If you promise that, I'll stay with you and raise the kids together."
Brady's eyes narrowed. Was that what she was thinking? He couldn't promise the future after all, so he said, "Okay, I promise."
Violet asked, "You won't go back on your word, right?"
"No," Brady said seriously. "Shall we sign an agreement?"
"Okay." Seeing he agreed, Violet relaxed a bit. As soon as she did, Brady pinched her chin and asked, "Now, can I kiss you?"
Without waiting for her answer, he kissed her deeply.
He thought he needed to show this rebellious woman some sexual favor to make her behave in the future.
