Chapter 110: Where would a normal person intentionally squirt fruit juice in someone's face?
Violet froze in place as she looked at the handsome and aloof man whose face now bore streaks of orange-yellow liquid. fter all, Brady Hall had never been so disheveled in all his life. The liquid covered his handsome face and black short hair.
Subconsciously, Violet pursed her lips, hesitating on whether to apologize to him or not.
Arthur had already spoken, asking a waiter to bring a hot towel to clean up Brady Hall.
And due to her "careless action", the female customers around them also noticed. When they turned their heads to look at Brady Hall, instead of being deterred by his disheveled appearance, they began whispering and speculating if Violet was this type of woman, intentionally using such a method to attract that man's attention.
Otherwise, why would a normal person intentionally squirt fruit juice in someone's face?
Just as everyone was whispering and gossiping.
Max suddenly stood up, like a knight in shining armor, and directly bowed to Brady to apologize on behalf of Violet: "Manager Gu, I'm sorry. Violet is a new employee who just graduated from school. She doesn't know much and acted rashly. Please don't be angry. I apologize on her behalf."
Max, the esteemed design director, actually stooped to apologize for her. Even if Violet wanted to keep her distance from him, she couldn't help but be touched and instinctively stood up, saying apologetically to Max, "Mr. Green, I'm sorry for causing you trouble."
After speaking, Violet realized something and turned around to apologize to Brady as well, "Manager Gu, I'm sorry."
Brady sat coldly on the side, wiping the fruit juice with a towel, ignoring Violet.
Seeing this, Violet thought that he might be really angry.
Not wanting to say too much, Max saw Violet stiff expression and thought she was scared, so he said softly, "You just graduated, it's okay. Just don't act so recklessly in the future."
Violet wasn't actually scared, she was just thinking about what he said earlier. But Max cared, so she politely nodded her head. However, their back and forth completely did not take into account Brady, the "victim."
Brady Hall was accustomed to being cold and arrogant, rarely paying attention to women. But now, it was different. He had thoughts about Violet before. So how could he tolerate the woman he wanted before, now flirting with another man right under his nose? His immediate response was to act cold. He raised his hand and threw the hot towel brought by the waiter onto the table with a heavy sound. In a cold voice, he said to Arthur beside him, "Gosh, take your time eating. I have something to do."
After speaking, without even glancing at Violet, he strode away with long strides and walked straight out.
Violet looked back at him, but when she did, her brows furrowed and she felt that something was amiss. After his tall figure disappeared at the entrance of the restaurant, she withdrew her gaze and resumed sitting with Max. Today, her meeting with Gosh was completely interrupted. Violet pursed her lips and apologized to Arthur, "I'm sorry, Gosh."
Arthur Stanley understood. Something was off with his friend lately. A man who was perfectly fine and didn't want to date anyone suddenly place an order for high-end children's furniture. On top of that Brady seemed like he was interested in this Violet Devereux?
He really had to keep an eye on him. So that he wouldn't be single for the rest of his life.
"It's fine, you didn't do it on purpose," Arthur was much gentler in temperament compared to Brady, who was dominant and aloof. He didn't reproach Violet in a cold tone. Instead, he comforted her.
Violet felt a little relieved and exhaled softly, while Max continued to flatter Arthur, easing the tension from earlier.
Arthur noticed his enthusiasm and thought that he might be pursuing Violet. His thin lips curled up slightly, smiling without saying much. He simply said, "I'll leave my cousin's wedding dress to Miss Mu. I hope you won't disappoint my cousin."
"Of course, Gosh, please rest assured," Max nodded.
"I'm almost done with my meal. If you still want to eat something, feel free to order. It will be on my tab," Arthur put down his spoon, elegantly picked up the napkin on the table to wipe his fingers, and said, "I have something to attend to." With that, he stood up, took long strides, and left first. Max and Violet immediately stood up and politely saw him off.
Shortly after he left, Violet and Max also left the restaurant and drove directly to meet Arthur’s cousin.
