Chapter 341 It Wouldn't Sound Good If It Got Out

Amelia shot down the design draft again. Frustrated and feeling helpless, Violet stormed off the set and stood under the blazing sun, trying to flag down a cab to get to the show venue and meet up with Max.

Violet could tell Amelia was giving her a hard time on purpose, but she knew that if Amelia kept this up, she'd be the one to suffer the most.

Sure, Violet might lose a job, but it wouldn't be the end of the world for her.

So, even though Amelia's nitpicking annoyed her, Violet realized the biggest loss wouldn't be hers. She decided to channel all her energy into the upcoming show design.

That was where her focus needed to be.

Meanwhile, on the top floor of Hall Group, in the president's office, Taylor rushed in with the freshly printed paternity test report.

The results were astounding—a 99.99% match confirmed that Henry was indeed Mr. Hall's child. This report starkly contradicted the previous two tests, which had both shown a 0% match.

Taylor was baffled. How could this new report be so different? What could account for such a drastic change? Was there something amiss with the previous tests, or was this result somehow tainted?

But that wasn't his problem. His job was to get the paternity test report to Mr. Hall as swiftly as possible.

With that in mind, Taylor picked up the pace and soon reached Brady's office door. He knocked, his heart racing as he awaited a response.

A deep voice came from inside. "Come in."

Taylor turned the doorknob and pushed the door open. Before Brady could even ask what was up, Taylor blurted out, "Mr. Hall, the paternity test report is out."

Then, he placed the report on Brady's desk.

Brady picked it up and started reading. As he reached the end, a gentle smile slowly spread across his handsome face.

"Mr. Hall, this test result should be real this time," Taylor said softly.

Brady closed the paternity test report and said, "So, the previous two tests were fake? Why? Do you think Violet has the means to bribe the testing agency?"

Taylor shook his head. "Mr. Hall, I don't know, but I can guarantee the agency is legit. I just don't know where things went wrong."

He continued, "I also don't know what trick Ms. Devereux used to make the first two tests show a 0% match."

Brady pondered for a few seconds and said, "Are you sure this one is real?"

Even though Henry had admitted it last night, he still wanted to be sure.

"It should be real," Taylor said. "Given the previous incidents, I stayed with the testing staff all through."

Brady nodded. "For now, only we know about this. Don't tell the Hall family, including my parents and Matilda Hall."

"Mr. Hall, don't worry, I'll keep this confidential." Taylor knew this was a private matter for the wealthy family, especially since the two children were indeed Mr. Hall's. That would mean Mr. Hall had kids out of wedlock. Such news could disrupt the family's carefully maintained image if it got out.

As a lawyer, Taylor knew the importance of handling this matter discreetly.

If he told anyone, given the Hall Group's power, he wouldn't be able to continue his career in Elysiuma.

He might even lose his law license.

"You can go now." Brady waved his hand, signaling Taylor to leave.

Taylor wisely exited the room. After the office door closed again, Brady picked up the paternity test report once more, smiling slightly as he looked at the results.

It was confirmed: the child was indeed his. Violet had deceived him twice, and she would need to be taught a lesson.

Brady put down the report, picked up his phone, and called Arthur. For now, he only wanted to tell his good friend, not the Hall family, to avoid any premature complications.
