Chapter 593 If You Have the Mind to Dress up Like this, How Come You Don't Have the Heart to Care for the Children?
The next day, Michael was returning to the country.
The return flight was scheduled for 10:30 AM. Matilda went to the airport to pick him up, while Brady went to pick up Violet.
Ava, upset about Violet, stayed home alone.
She sat on the couch at home, thinking about how to deal with Michael.
Although Michael doted on her, he was very filial and listened to Matilda in everything. If Matilda wanted him to accept Violet, he would have no objections. In fact, if Matilda told him about Violet's daughter, he would definitely be angry.
Ava thought carefully. It was impossible for her to accept a woman like Violet.
But if Brady wanted to send her back abroad, she definitely wouldn't go. She wouldn't leave the country until Violet was gone.
So she made up her mind to first placate Michael and Matilda. As long as Michael supported her, she could stay for the time being.
Then she immediately went upstairs to dress up.
Michael liked her best in a dress.
Ava carefully chose a rose-red dress, once everything was ready, she drove to the airport.
At the airport, sure enough, Matilda was waiting in the arrival area. Brady and Violet hadn't arrived yet.
From a distance, Ava saw Matilda's back and felt a surge of anger. Violet was so smug only because Matilda supported her.
Ava calmed herself down and walked forward. Finally, standing in front of Matilda, she pretended to be ingratiating as she said, "Mom, I'm here."
Matilda turned to look at her. Seeing her heavily made-up face and dress, she was instantly displeased. With the effort she put into her appearance, why couldn't she put the same effort into loving Nicole and Henry?
If Ava dared to act out again, Matilda would really advise Michael to divorce her.
She deliberately said in a stern voice, "Did you come because you've thought things through?"
Ava didn't respond, her face darkened a bit. After a while, she said, "I came to pick up my husband."
Matilda snorted through her nose. "Ava, I wasn't joking the other day. You either love Violet and Nicole and Henry properly, or you go live abroad. I won't interfere with your life."
Hearing Matilda say this, Ava's face instantly stiffened. Did everyone want to send her away?
Her fingers clenched tightly as she said, "Mom, no matter how good abroad is, it's not as good as the Hall family, right?"
"Then you should properly accept Violet and her children," Matilda said.
Ava's face turned even uglier, but to avoid leaving the country, she had to endure it for now. After a few seconds of silence, she said, "Mom, I'll try."
Hearing this, Matilda immediately said, "As long as you can accept Violet and her children, you're still part of the Hall family. Otherwise, you should get a divorce."
Ava was shocked. She didn't expect Matilda to be so ruthless, wanting her to divorce for Violet? She was instantly even more furious. But she had to endure it now.
"Michael is out," Matilda quickly said..
Inside the passage, Michael saw Matilda and Ava. His face darkened, and he quickened his pace.
Compared to the love he showed Ava every time before, Michael's gaze at Ava this time had changed.
Matilda had cried to him over the phone about Ava bullying Nicole. Michael found it very strange because the Ava he knew wasn't such a vicious person.
Soon, Michael walked up to Matilda and Ava. He greeted Matilda first, and when he looked at Ava, who warmly called out, "Honey."
Michael gave her a cold look and, said sternly, "We need to have a good talk about Violet and Nicole today."
