Chapter 1025 Lucien, Do You Know Your Actions Have Already Violated the Law?
Emily couldn't believe he had the nerve to kidnap her in broad daylight. Furious, she reached out and started clawing at Lucien's hand.
As she scratched, she yelled, "Lucien, let go of me! If you don't, I'm calling the cops!"
"Lucien, you jerk, let me go!"
Her nails left bloody marks on the back of Lucien's hand, but he didn't loosen his grip. His strong hand clamped down on her wrist, refusing to let her go.
This time, no matter what, he was going to take her to meet Austin's ex-fiancée.
He wanted her to see what kind of scumbag she was about to marry.
"Lucien!" Emily's face turned red with anger as she struggled to break free from his grasp.
She stopped clawing and started kicking him instead.
Of course, her kicks against his rock-hard muscles were like hitting a hammer with a pillow—completely ineffective.
After a few minutes of struggling, her wrist was red from his grip, and she still couldn't break free.
She finally gave up.
When he shoved her into the car, she immediately pulled out her phone to call the police.
She didn't want to have anything more to do with him.
But just as she was about to dial, Lucien got into the car, snatched her phone, and turned it off. "Sit tight. You can make a scene when we get there," he said calmly.
"I'm not going, Lucien. Do you realize what you're doing is illegal?" Emily glared at him, her teeth clenched.
"Restraining you, right?" Lucien started the car, his voice unhurried. "Do you think calling the cops will help? We slept together last night."
Even though nothing happened, she had indeed slept in his bed.
At the mention of last night, Emily's face turned red. Her big, beautiful eyes glared at the man in the driver's seat. "Nothing happened last night. Don't bring it up."
"Even if nothing happened, you still slept in my bed, didn't you?"
"Trying to deny it?"
Emily gritted her teeth and punched Lucien's arm hard. "You jerk! You forced me to go with you last night."
"If I hadn't taken you away that night, you might not be so innocent now," Lucien said, glancing at her with a gentle tone.
Emily didn't want to hear it. She pulled back her fist and leaned against the seat, her face darkening.
"Lucien, I suggest you let me go, or I'll hate you even more."
"You already hate me. What's the difference?" Lucien's voice was calm, with a deep, magnetic tone that could make any girl's ears tingle.
Emily's ears tingled uncontrollably, and she didn't like it.
She didn't want to be attracted to him again.
So she tightened her expression, staring out the window, and said angrily, "Then I'll hate you."
"See someone first, then you can hate me, okay?" Lucien glanced at her from the corner of his eye. "Just rest for a bit."
Emily ignored him.
The car was already speeding down the road through the forest park. Jumping out wasn't an option.
She had no choice but to sit and wait.
Soon, the car emerged from the dense park and onto a wide road. Emily was still fuming.
But her anger was futile.
After cooling down for about ten minutes, she saw the car leaving the city limits and finally asked, "Where are you taking me?"
Lucien glanced up. "To Austin's ex-fiancée's place. She lives in the city next to New Future City. It won't take long."
Austin's ex-fiancée?
Emily was stunned. How did she not know about this?
