Chapter 673 Juniper Was Kidnapped

"Yeah, Mom, she has a daughter too," Juniper said, biting her lip and spilling everything.

Helen felt her world spinning, her body swaying like she might collapse. She forced herself to stay upright and said, trying to sound calm, "Okay, I get it. Come home soon."

With that, Helen hurriedly hung up the phone and collapsed onto the expensive Persian rug.

What was meant to happen had finally come.

Evelyn was coming to collect her debt.

Juniper finished her call with her mom and decided to wash her face in the bathroom to calm down.

Just as she reached the bathroom door, the doorbell rang.

Juniper thought it was her brother and felt annoyed, but she went to open the door anyway.

As soon as she opened the door, she saw a young man in a hotel uniform pushing a small dining cart inside. "Ms. Lawson, your lunch is here."

"My lunch? I didn't order any," Juniper glanced at the silver platter, ready to send him away. "You must have the wrong room."

"Ms. Lawson, I didn't make a mistake," the waiter replied politely.

"Did my brother order it?" Juniper guessed someone must have ordered lunch for her since the waiter seemed insistent.

"It was Mr. Lawson who ordered it," the waiter confirmed.

Juniper didn't suspect anything further. "Alright, bring it in."

The waiter nodded and pushed the cart inside, closing the door behind him.

As soon as the door was shut, the polite waiter swiftly pulled out a transparent syringe from the silver platter and jabbed it into Juniper's neck. She tried to scream for help, but the needle silenced her.

She collapsed to the floor, unconscious.

The waiter picked her up and hid her under the cart's empty shelf, pulling the tablecloth down to cover her. He then pushed the cart out.

As he exited the suite, the bodyguard stationed at the door glanced at the waiter but noticed nothing unusual and let him pass.

The waiter took Juniper from the penthouse suite down to the ground floor kitchen. Once there, he quickly wheeled her out the back door when no one was looking.

Waiting outside was Eileen, sitting in her car with a stern expression, waiting for the waiter to bring Juniper out.

She couldn't let this go.

She couldn't touch Violet, but she could certainly go after the Lawson family's daughter. James hadn't helped her, so she would use Juniper's life to get Lilian back.

If not, she would make sure Juniper didn't survive.

Ethan and Brady finished their conversation and spent some time with Violet at the hospital before heading back to the hotel to check on Juniper.

Juniper had a stubborn temper, and Ethan worried she might do something extreme if she was upset.

So, he rushed back to the hotel to check on her.

He reached the penthouse and swiped his card to enter.

The suite was empty.

Ethan frowned instantly. Where had she gone?

He pulled out his phone and called her. The ringtone sounded from the bed.

Ethan's eyes narrowed with a sudden sense of foreboding.

He quickly stepped out of the suite and asked the bodyguards, "Did you see Juniper leave?"

The bodyguards shook their heads. "No, she stayed in the room after she came back."

"She's not in there now. What the hell have you guys been doing?" Ethan said coldly.

"Did anyone come in?"

The Lawson family's daughter suddenly disappearing was no joke. The bodyguards didn't dare hesitate and quickly said, "A waiter came in to deliver lunch."

A waiter.

Ethan's face turned anxious. Someone had kidnapped Juniper.
